I hate the new gigantic "quick" toggles. They are made for handicapped people only as anyone who can type on a phone could easily hit the normal quick toggles and it would be better to have more of them on screen instead of this bs

The split-screen illustration really is not much different from my current experience using the LG V50's detachable DualScreen case. That said, I'm really intrigued to see how Samsung would utilize the Android 12.1 build for the upcoming OneUI 4.0 with the Galaxy Z Fold lineup.

May I ask if Android 12.1 is a minor update specifically for the foldable phone, or a minor update for all?

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2021Still no tablet optimization?Foldables are tablets (when open). So we are finally getting it ... 10 years late, via the back door.
Google sadly bet on the dead end that is their Chrome Os. Foldables are obviously the future and once TRI foldables come into the fore they would eath the launch of small laptops. Eventually biggers ones as well (the more folds we add all the while keepong the device slim).
So I welcome foldables ,they would allow Google to come in their senses (laptops are what boomers use, tablets is what Gen Z and above would prefer, millennials are boomers v2 so plz ignore them, and I think Google finally will ;) )

Good to know. Foldables needs a lot of software updates and apps needs to be updated to be optimized for them. Not many are built for a tiny cover display. Many apps don't always display correctly. Browsers are built with portrait viewing in mind.
