Having 2,5Gbps just to read news, check social media or watch youtube is so much waste of power.

Why would anyone want a 4G flagship phone? I can understand that some countries don’t have widespread 5G coverage (or any at all), but I still think that it’s best to furture-proof your investment, especially if you are going to get a flagship. And cost savings is not really an issue, since a person who pays 1000 euros on a phone can just as easily pay 10-20-30 euros extra to get it with 5G.

Wouldn't mind buying one of those (don't need 5G for year myself) IFF:
- it was priced right and not at the level of Apple
- If they got rid of the ridiculous "3D curved screen"
- Supported a real memory card slot (not that proprietary nm crap) and a 3.5mm headphone jack
A phone without google spyware would be a blessing.

Snapdragon failed to make a proper flagship soc this year. They are still behind A13 but throttles

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2021Where are the next-gen Kirin chipsets?It's sad. Huawei and HiSilicon have likely already designed a new chip to rival the SD888 and A15. But alas, It'll likely stay as a blueprint, because neither Samsung nor TSMC are allowed to make the damn thing.
Let's hope that Qualcomm learns from its mistake of using Samsung Semiconductor and will switch back to TSMC. That would solve the overheating problems of the SD888.
