It's nothing but forked version of android like Lineage OS all of them are AOSP based without AOSP they're nothing so it's android
Unfortunately Huawei scammed you with illusion of new OS and they just brought you a changed name

With an old chip they are behind the competition Kirin 9000 not even 9000E I don't like these chips they have to test SD SM 8250 AC a 7(NM) but still a good chip.

Second, while Harmony OS uses AOSP layer for Android apps compatibility during migration period (no one ever denied that), Harmony OS ISN'T Android. Do your homework before commenting bull.

Oh really? Works fine on my GF's Kirin 980 and not a word about it in Play Store, I just checked. (Actually I don't even understand, how ARM based app wouldn't work on ARM processor.)

No flagship chip of a given year is twice as fast as the competition. Not even the Apples chips are twice as fast and they have the performance crown as long as we remember
