I got my Lumia 920, unfortunately in black :( I've used everything, Android Blackberry, iOS and I have to say, this is by far the best phone I have ever used. Yes it lacks apps but it is only a matter of the time till that becomes available. I just love the fact this phone doesn't freeze. very smooth and very people connected !

john, 25 Nov 2012Dumbest and the most limiting phone OS in the market, and a... moreOS will evolve with time.. and average user doesn't want rooting and stuff. The phone is a master piece.. Just check all the drop tests and scratch tests etc etc in iPhone 5, SGS3 and Lumia 920.

And no body forcing any body to use tiles. People who like it will use it. I'm 3 yrs android user, but no its time for me to go back to my favourite Nokia again. Its not only about OS and apps. If thats the case I would've gone for HTC 8X (Happy MyTouch 4G user). But Lumia 920 is the best in currect market (lets hope iPhone and Sammy will come up to compete with this master piece)

That's why windows 8 wont let you start using the normal desktop mode.

Same thing will the phone version.Forcing people into it.

AnonD-80330, 25 Nov 2012Im thinking seriously that the Lumia 920 is my next phone. ... moreThe e6 allowed file management. I don't think any wp8 phone allows that. I was interested inthe 920, but iI couldn't find any info of a built in file manager or as a downloadable app. Or of Bluetooth transfers.

If any wp8 owner could confirm, please do tell us about these features. :-)

It's the only handset which can replace my E6.

No other phone could make me leave my E6

lets give big thanks to Damian Dinning for making PureView tech smartphones (808 PureView & Lumia 920)... but nokia misses him well.

keep up the good work Nokia, even we're outnumbered trolling by android fans.

Lol. Nokia dominated the symbian platform long before 2008 also. It's a fact man.. Samsung can't maintain at 1st place where Nokia is present. And really no interest in WP platform?? That's why day by day apps of WP8 are increasing. That's why the company like ZTE and Huawei are also making WP8 phones. That's why your beloved company also making WP8 phones. WP8 is getting popular day by day. The no. of apps in WP8 store also increasing in faster rate than Android. And you say no interest and no competition?? How can Samsung promote Ativ S as it is already blown away bx HTC 8X(Leave Nokia Lumia 920 alone). I like Android for its freedom and customization. That's why I am using Galaxy Nexus. But in terms of smoothness, stable and ease of use WP8 is way ahead. I am using both the OS and also both the phones(L920 & Galaxy Nexus).. I know it man. Once again I will say Nokia has unmatched build quality and superior camera in the industry.. And also the whole world wants Nokia+ Droid. But it is impossible now.. Don't forget most of today's android user are previous Symbian user.. So Nokia is still in their heart..

frankly speaking , after owning a galaxy s3(awesum screen, lightweight, nice android applications and games, gud camera). I am using this masterpiece (yellow color unlocked) as gift from my cousin from canada last week. And my galaxy s3 is lying in my pocket most of the times(really loved my galaxy s3 but its boring now and feels cheap plastic in front of 920). I would like to say that nokia has really created the best screen and touch and windows is really smooth. The camera for still photography is excellent at night but automatic settings in daytime ruin the image(do some manual settings and bingo its better then my galaxy s3),video recording is beating even my sony handycam with all those shakeless stuff..I really disliked nokia in symbian. As it was slow and lagged but even android is nt 100% smooth may b because of touchwiz in samsung but feels gud in htc phones.. I would give 8.5 to the phone for all that smoothness, u.i , maps , apps and games and built but battery is nt uptomark( its seriously n eye candy. Yellow color is flashy and feels gud in hands, it seems little heavier then my galaxy but it feels like a phone not a cheap plastic so weigth is nt a issue trust me. I got around 7.45 of web browsin in 3g( waiting for software updates for it as my cousins handset getting 9.5 hours) so only place this phn lost pts in my sense is due to its battery, otherwise screen is excellent even in bright sunlight.so galaxy s3 wins more apps(windows app store is also catching up and in next 2 months they will b near to android i guess) and weight( its light but feels like a plastic now, i frnt of my lumia), But a little inprovement in battery( iam expecting more then 8.5 hrs web browsing in 3g my galaxy giving me 7.30 hrs).iam back to nokia and m overwhelmed

Dumbest and the most limiting phone OS in the market, and a real pain to use to backup or upload anything to your phone. Stay far far away from this crap.

I love windows phone but the main reason that i cant switch because due to the lack of apps -_- hope that wp8 get some important apps that i needed the most.
