AnonD-50627, 24 Nov 2012i would like to know in which department(S) is nokia lumia ... moreBefore I start this, I am a proud owner of a 2nd Samsung Galaxy S3 (first one screen broke from a small fall and Best Buy replaced it)
Nokia Lumia 920 is cheaper, has more solid build quality (hence the above), wireless charging, more color options, OIS, better camera, OS is preference, customer support better (Nokia gave gift cards for apologies), exclusive apps, offline mapping. There's more but I can't think of them currently. By the way, it was only for a certain time frame Galaxy S3 owners received 50GB freeDropBox.

i would like to know in which department(S) is nokia lumia 920 better than samsung galaxy s3 apart from camera and the dolby sound enhancement section....lets leave os to market share as i have given up reasoning in that department .....the rest.....well how about memory no card...yeah thats cool......software...no java engine.....right.....no need to compare cpu or gpu.......what else.....colour options.. ....tickness. .....weight.....just open the compare section and the sgs3 overwhelms lumia 920 in features.....skydrive 7gb vs dropbox 50gb.....and funnily enough i own a sgs2 and as far as i can remember the only times i had to factory reset my phone in the past one and a half year (one and a half rough years for the phone actually) was when i had updated or rooted it......why is that only u guyz experience horrendous lags as me and many of my friends who own android devices never observed? before buying android i had iphone 4 which is supposed to have the smoothest software.....but after switching i did not see so much of a difference.

we will hoped that gsmarena staff team will take an action to all unwanted fandroids always trolling in this thread and other nokia/windows thread.
you have your own thread, samsung and other android operating mobile phone, just stay their and post your comment and suggestion as much as you like.

I have to admit. The Galaxy S3 has a very good audio chip from Wolfson. Galaxy S had a Wolfson chip also. You combine that with the Voodoo Sound mod and you have an excellent music player. Galaxy S2 was crap with audio because they didn't include the Wolfson audio chip. I had a Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 myself.

Nokia is also known for their call quality, signal reception, and build quality. I'll take those three on the Lumia 920 over any Samsung phone any day.

two months ago, they were forecasting that the Lumia 920 will not sell well.
now that it's selling well, they start to call the people who bought it dumb.

Even if so why didn't they try android even after the huge success of android since gingerbread ? Get the fact ,they are/were actually afraid of samsung to give try for android since they witnessed the rapid growth and demand of samsung.so they decided to go with windows phone where no competition exists.like a coward

features and not worried about lag so much.
But from now google is about to fix it when they weren't even trying because it's users didn't mind.
Of course google can fix the lag they have the engineers and money to do that. Just wasn't a priority
for them.
And that other person, I have the HOX+ version not the normal one.can hit 1.89Ghz stable for most the time.Nividia say it's the best SOC for a smartphone.

They gave us smartphone... moreever since the release of the sgs series samsung has beaten nokia in the smartphone market...samsung over took nokia in the 'dumb phone+ smartphone segment' last year's last quarter though that did surprise me as i believed that sammy could not manufacture dumb phones as good as nokia.....you will see that even now more than half of nokia's share in the mobile market comes from dumbphones.

android has been how many years old...
been through many updates....
been laggy...
still laggy...
dont say excuses like "wait for android 5.1 or 10.9 or 100.9 to fix the lag blah blah blah"...
compare the latest update of android and the fresh WP8...
so yea....zzzzzzzzz
