Stop buying Nokia and Win OS phones and make microsoft and Elop realise that the only powerful force in todays global market is the buyer and not the dictator of any company who scraps any OS(without even trying to develop it) randomly and starts with his own ex employers OS to favor them. Nokia Elop WinOS suckkkkkkkkkkkkkk...

It's a big hit for Nokia and Nokia's fans... Very sad.

Dinning and he's team have achieved a great technological breakthrough in 808PV and won several prestigious awards. When 808PV and Symbian were ditched and not appreciated, one cannot say that Dinning and many of his fellows at Nokia are happy with that. Now that they're gone and Nokia have lost many of it's brightest talents.

Nokia has made many mistakes to it's costumers and engineers and is declining and lost profits more and more. Nokia is managed by the wrong hands.

Nokia is Lost...! The only way to come back is to make Simple and Basic Phones with good Features, like Nokia 1100, Nokia 3310 and Nokia 1101 for India, which is the best Market for Nokia Basic Phones.

Nokia - Please improve your Basics, for which you are very well know in India..! Keep it Real, Simple and Basic.. well atleast for India...!

            Thanks,
            Prince_007.

AnonD-80989, 25 Nov 2012A Nokia guy tweeting from an iPad... How ironic. LOLNokia's founders can't tolerate to use their own products to be honest Foxccon and Compal products, how do they expect people to use them?
Samsung and Apple both did a favor to the world by taking Nokia out from phones market, imagine if Nokia still in leading we would still have phones like Nokia music.

I can't understand why can't a Nokia guy use ipad?? Nokia didn't make tablets.. Also ipad is a great product. When Apple co founder can use Lumia 900, then why Nokia guy can't use Apple product. They are also people like us who enjoying technology and different product.. Is it mandatory for a person to have everything of Nokia. There is no such rules to use a single company product when you are working in a particular company.

Here what he said in the statement:

Following the news of my forthcoming departure from Nokia I wanted to say a few words:

Firstly, wow! Huge thanks for the incredibly kind words of support and well wishes. I have been so touched by all of your messages.

As reported in Nokia’s own statement regarding my forthcoming departure, a number of key strategic roles have moved to Finland. My family and I are based in the UK at a stage in our lives where relocation is unfortunately not an option. I have therefore made the tremendously difficult decision after nearly 9 years with Nokia to leave the company. I am hugely proud of the work I have been involved with during my time at Nokia and feel privileged to have worked with some of the smartest people I’ve ever been fortunate enough to meet.

As reported by a few, the work area I am best known for, imaging, is the result of a huge and massively talented pool of people. I have often felt embarrassed by the media attention I received knowing that whilst I am proud of my own contributions and the forward looking guidance I have strived to provide the teams, there are a lot of unsung heroes!

I have known for some time that I would be leaving Nokia. I’ve spent many many months with this in mind, working with incredibly talented and highly motivated people across various teams building towards the next steps Nokia will take in imaging.

                                      About PureView:

                                      1. Actually, it was not Damian Dinning who created PureView.
The 2 inventors are Juha Alakarhu and Eero Salmelin.

                                      2. Nokia bought the imaging technology company Scalado in Sweden, which is an expert in imaging, and of course there is also a head man in this company. Therefore, it is almost natural that Damian Dinning steps down.

It came about in 2007, crazy ideas from Nokia’s Juha Alakarhu and Eero Salmelin. The idea was first recorded on a napkin. Then these two guys started to invent the PureView technology, the whole team included 400 people. You can watch
