      UFS3.1 (from good suppliers) can reach near 1,7GB/s.

        A14 does not have a throttling issue at all.

        It does get hot under load and battery consumption is very high, but it does not even throttle 5%. Excellent sustained performance.

                Problem with Android is that the OEMs tend to cut corners and opt for slower UFS2.x, or even eMMC, on anything other than their flagship. Meanwhile, Apple uses NVMe for all iPhones, including the SE.

                  Upside, just buy a phone with 5G. Not for the 5G, but even their cheap Mediatek Dimension 700 5G uses UFS. Meanwhile, their Helio G85 only supports eMMC. You have to get at least G90 to get UFS.

                          Im not sure if comparing a 9 months old Phone to a not yet released phone (not in all countries at least) is that meaningful. Let me foretell the future: The S22 Ultra will most likely outrun the iphone 13 pro max in just 4 months...this is so hillarious. But do I wonder? No. Most parents even compare their kids to those of other parents - this world is somewhat disgusting. Enjoy your phones and be happy there is such beautiful tech, no matter the brand.
