4G version of Oppo A55 debuts with 50MP camera, Helio G35 chipset

The phone is already on pre-order and has 18W fast charging. For comparison, the A55 5G has a 13MP cam and 10W charging (and Dimensity 700).

          Something fishy here, can mtk g35 really used 50mp camera? Or oppo lied to us and using software to justify that's it can use 50mp camera?

                  Anonymous, 01 Oct 2021This phone is a waste of time. Oppo A9 2020 ( a11x) is better With these budget phones you want to get the latest you can get and not look old models. You want the latest cause then you have that 18 months updates. While the older the model is the less updates you have with it so there is no point. And these are anyways so low end that you cant do much with them. Especially when you like to play few games time to time to train your battery to 0 or close to it to set your phone on charging.

                    Just a main camera upgrade vs. A54, and that's about it. Helio P35/G35 at $160-170 is just ridiculous already, let alone $200. Would've been a better deal if they kept SD460 from A53.

Sure on the redmi 10 it was bad but it's xiaomi fault to not implement it properly. Look on the realme 8i it had such good quality u know(atleast for budget it could prob match upto like 300-400 price range phone camera in general). And it's not like thier not going ot use it mainly for marketing tricking.
