The only os that had privacy was BBOS but these guys are engineers and where thinking to buy only a good device was good enough (LOL) and let people pay for secure apps

            All ads and bloatware can be disabled/removed.
            It's seriously a non issue.

            You seem like those upset Samsung fans who can't digest Chinese brands eating their marketshare.

              things are happening quicker without the ads because it's not sending duplicate information to themselves and the advertiser, so in theory your health an financial data should now be safe from advertisers eyes at least, not sure about samsung themselves, they'll probably still sell the data on at a later date to reclaim the lost ad revenue.

                  Just like you thought payment apps don't work with root, I am sure there is a fix for rooting Samsung and using payment apps without tripping Knox.
                  Plenty of Galaxy Flagships enjoy good developer community support on xda.
                  Rooting is pretty basic. There should be a solution. Go check xda properly.

Almost every news or article about samsung are commented by chinese phone fans talking about how bad samsung is. So, by your definition of success, samsung is still way more success than every chinese oem. Not to mention almost every chinese oem need parts from samsung only to be exist.

                    So yeah, in the end you are either buying samsung phone with samsung brand, or buying samsung phone with chinese brand.

                                      For such expensive (mostly ODM) devices, Samsung must not provide ads as Xiaomi for example does to cover costs (and does spying by telemetry via Security app, but that's another long story short), so this is fair decision.

                                        My last year's OP8 pro and my current Mi 11 Ultra both rooted and I have no issue with payment apps. Magisk takes care of it.
