Well, I only want a circular wall hanging with a browser that can read an address like 192.168.8.99:8080/index.html
Upon opening index.html, my round wall hanging pops up with every imaginable wearable watch face that I can dream up as a retired pensioner with just an old phone and free Vanilla JavaScript, html5, css.
So needless to say, the idea of a circular phone came to me today. But yes, first issue is price.
Now if it was priceless, I might take that to mean "ITS FREE !!!"

the reason why there are no circular phones because they don't work. you get less screen real estate for more bulkier size. that's why apps, contents everything is designed in a rectangular shape. Ask any smart watch app developer, how problematic it is.

I watched the promotinal video on kickstar and its a mess. How she talks about a beautifull 800x800 screen. She cant be serious. $700 sor a £70 device

Pros:
It is unique
It has USB C and micro USB (would be great couple of years ago) but helpful anyway
It is seems to fit the hand
It has 2 Headphone Jacks and FM radio
It seems cute and I see a niche of people who would be interested in the concept
It has dual sims, SD cards and removal battery
Cons: (and suggestions)
That phone really needs to decrease its bezels
They should also make the launcher more circular friendly like what some smartwatches did in their launchers and apps
I also noticed that there is no Google apps in it. Maybe they didn't put it in the video yet or the phone just don't have Google Play Store at all.
It also uses Android 10 while Android 12 is going to be released in phones.
2000 battery is very small battery
There is X shaped things in the bezels which I think they should remove or mask

So, I'll have to use pi-r-square formula to calculate screen pixel count. Man o man.
that would be 400 x 400 x 22/7 which is around 5 Lakh 2.8 Thousands pixels approx. Honestly it is not even around 720p.
And what about compatiblity of apps. It sure is an eye catcher but the reasons may as well be wrong or right, both.

Genius-like. But I will wait for the Cyrcle Phone 3.0, which probably will have a big cutout in the middle for a better grip.
