If still have no microsd slot like optimus G/nexus 4 then I'll surely pass.
They should support 64gb sdxc card, regardless of internal memory size.
And battery.
I agree with others, android manufacturer should focus to improve battery life instead of clock speed.
It's a shame that most android phone have needs to recharge every day.

(like krait 28 nm build) - because: The smaller the transistor, the less charge needed, therefore less energy is needed.
Since space is physically limited.. there is also a limit to how big the battery can be.
Thats why ppl have to design more battery efficient cpu/gpu to save battery..

LG have hardware.. but its software is lacking..
If you do not know how to root phones or customise.. do not use LG!

I will buy if it has a removable battery, if not i stick with my Rezound. Spare batteries and wall charger is the way to go, My phone never needs to get plugged in!

This is totally pointless! Many people would rather have 3x the battery life than a 2.5GHz quad core that they'll never need! Why don't they learn?!

I know 4.2 still has a bit of lag.
Awesome to hear 5.0 on this power there should be no lag at all finally I hope.Be great to finally tell people calling my HOX+ a lagdroid is lie

This totally unnecessary!!!! First 4x came out and 3-4 months later Optimus G. G model is not even be sold in most countries but now they are coming up with G2!!! How would a guy with 4x feeling now? Tell me if this is a good marketing strategy. Also in my opinion, LG might make the fastest phones recently, Im not buying this brand unless they give on time updates.

Optimus G has not been released in Europe yet, this will never arrive in Europe and will probably not get released with Key Lime Pie. Most probably will get 4.2 and stay there maybe like FOREVER or get key lime pie after a year almost(after its release on nexus 4). I have to admit LG has awesome hardware but their partnership with google (lte chip fiasco on the nexus 4 etc.) was a bit of a disappointment (except for countries with play store who got it for dirt cheap). If LG manages to bring themselves to a state where they have update support for their devices for up to at least 1.5 years then I might consider buying this. I hope they get it right this time and add a bigger battery and microsd card slot. Also please don't make 13mp-32gb internal/8mp-16gb internal+microsd card version. Just release one perfect version.

People who are on the road and away from a desk need to have a phone that lasts the day... There is no point taking an 8 hour plane flight and your phone is dead halfway through.
The Note 2 battery life is probably the biggest feature.

This sounds like it will be a great phone as long as battery life is good.
It's interesting that the new flagship screen size for 2013 is 5 inches.... All I phone users must feel a little jipped with the 4 inch screen.... I will be staying with my note 2 and waiting for a note 3 getting close to 6 inches.

Damn you critics!!! I have used LG optimus 4x hd and it was the best phone ever. I say it is equivalent to SGS3. Install 3rd party apps and you ll see the beast. By far, LG is running at its best. Whoaaa, you illiterates, you better buy and then post a comment.

Did you even visit "Optimus G" section on xda forums? Custom ROM for this device is non-existent not even single support from 3rd-party devs.

I can see a 2GHz processor but i think 2.5GHz is a long shot for a smartphone at this time, maybe 2.5GHz for a tablet.

ya n it will be stucked in key pie lime only, n its customers will drink lime water after it coz of no further update... optimus G is not even available in my country... i asked in the shop n they told it will start ship here by Q1, 2013 may b end of jan... they r much slow in everything... LG u r totally destroyed stop making phones...

Why do people complaint about battery life????Yyou will always get a charger with the phone to charge it up .. Why so much fuzz with the battery . A phone with such good config with eat up battery , Simple as that , Were as a phone like nokia asha or micromax its very obvious to provide you with a good battery life, i own a note and till date i have never had any issues with battery , I use live wallpapers , never use the task manager to close the apps nor my brightness is too low. I use all the features the phone provides and Boy i am happy with it .. .
