this is the final review from me
I got this earphone ex-display in my country for around 20$, like new without box and ear tips spare, its battery also drop a bit maybe around 5% from original, the brand new one is discounted and sells for around 45$(clearance sale and in preparation for vivo tws 3)
I'm using the latest update 2.6.7 for the tws
first , this tws is quite a rare combination of ANC + aptx adaptive
second, ANC is comfortable but weak for blocking vocal/mid sound still above average compared to other tws
third, it does support Dolby atmos but doesn't like it, with Dolby atmos on it broke the two characteristic, the sound stage becomes smaller, and vocals become muffled albeit with added bass across it
Four , this tws characteristic is as follow: the sound stage is large, high is very good, vocal is good, bass is weak
for optimal sound you need to use vivo headphone app and choose from 3 eq :
vocal : this will make the vocal become crisper but making the bass almost nonexistent
mega bass : this will increase bass frequency only, vocal position will step back a bit but still retain the default characteristic too with highs
high pitch : only good for instrument , not great for all around music genre
basically best eq is turn off the dolby atmos in music player, and choose between vocal or mega bass, the problem is song that is focused on vocals without any bass will feels quite with mega bass setting while best with vocal setting, for music with a lot of bass , using vocal is still good but lack of boom except if there's a strong bass sound in the song it will still come out so, vocal eq maybe the general best setting across genre
for other devices, I'm using macbook pro 2020 and matepad huawei 10.4 both run the tws great and the sounds feel a bit better than my phone (find x2 pro) not sure why,
for the delay i got around 150ms which is standard for aptx adaptive tws, for macbook the delay dropped to around 100ms this is using a delay check from a youtube video so maybe not accurate
overall i think this tws is quite almost head to head with other premium tws like enco x, except both have different characteristics, the only weakness is the volume which is mentioned in this review, for me, the problem is the sound stepping, volume above 70% have huge different level than below 70, but no deal breaker as you can still use 70-80% volume i don't regret it moving to this tws from enco x , larger sound stage and great instrumental , only voice is not that crisp without the vocal eq
hope this review will help people who want to buy this tws, its a bit late as it aged around 1+ year but still worth it with price below 50$
also about the bass, with mega bass the bass quality is still good the boom is good, not weak not overwhelm but feels uncontrolled

this tws prefer used with dolby atmos eq than the standard eq from vivo headphone apps, sound quality get better almost in all frequency range just the detail a bit lowered bit and compared to enco x sound stage, mid and high sound better. But this tws can only focus between mid and bass, when bass run greater mid and vocal sound a bit muddled but if voice and mid go in the front / clear / crisp, bass will almost drop a lot

this tws run louder in vivo devices, i tried in my friend vivo phone a low mid range phone sound get very very loud while on my matepad huawei and oppo find x2 pro sound is okay but below 70% sound too small like reported
it seems vivo and iqoo have some config in their software or hw which makes the tws run better or optimal , still sound stage larger and detail is better than the enco x, bass almost the same with enco x better controlled and tighter

Latency with aptx adaptive and snapdragon 865 can do 150ms same as other aptx adaptive tws, while on macbook i can get below 100ms , btw i'm using a video for tws latency test on youtube so maybe not accurate but you roughly get the idea , most standard sbc vary from 350 to 500 ms while a tws with sbc and game mode can reach around 150ms same as aptx adaptive level

About anc i think most brand have same level of anc, marketing gimmick can rate 35 , 38 40 ,42 db but we can not hear the difference by jt they mostly the same blocking low freq while high and mid vary between devices and brand tuning.

Not sure if its from aptx adaptive but the tws can go as far as 20 metre from the device with no buffering or drop in quality this is 2x times from enco x with ldhc

For volume , its funny this tws have another eq inside it so max volume in your device may result in low volume you need to raise the volume using touch control in the stem to msx the eq inside the tws too i think this is the issue

With current 2023 and latest update for tws and the headphone apps it now great , the muffled mid vocal sound can be fix by using clear voice eq from the vivo headphone app but i dont think its muffled just dont feel crisp at all , the high was very clear and great , instrumental song runs great, while you can use bass boost in eq to improve bass a lot. Basically for improving sound you can always turn on eq from the hesdphone apps it wont disturb the high sound and choose from clear voice or bass boost depending on your preference

Go for premium earbuds if you want to enjoy your music. Apple isn't good for music. No bass. Go for Samsung Sony Bose Sennheiser Jabra. If your budget is tight go for Beats JBL or Anker.

1.it uses lossy bt, 2.one driver, 3.frequency response is a wonder, 4.''up to'' 40dB means a lot, 5. works only with - the same sickness as from apple.
Wish all of you can enjoy the music, not suffer from using cool features that have nothing to do with music quality you hear in the end.
