Rk, 08 Oct 2021I will buy LCD in 2030 also. You can buy it in the 5000 if you like, I can pay for much more quality and not for that thing that serves to use it as a focus

Anonymous, 07 Oct 2021Likee...? Oppo offers their low end A15 which is trash co... moreU live under a rock if u think realme 6 is the newest series
    Samsung is better

DMX, 07 Oct 2021LCD in almost 2022? wtf ??I will buy LCD in 2030 also.

Looks pretty decent and it's interesting to see more Unisoc, they're starting to be competitive with lower end Mediatek.

DMX, 07 Oct 2021LCD in almost 2022? wtf ??A budget LCD is a lot better than a budget OLED, no flicker, no burn-in, no color deviation as it gets older, cheaper to replace.

Oppo offers their low end A15 which is trash compared to the E40.
Realme has their "6" but it's impossible to get right now.
Vivo is barely present in Europe.
Oneplus has their N100 but again, trash compared to this one. Poor camera, Snapdragon 460 is laughably bad. Screens are similar though..
            Samsung... yeah... lol...
And I already mentioned Xiaomi so..

Listen, don't think I'm attacking you or something but I find the whole MOTOROLAAA IS BAAAAD mentality extremely annoying.

Anonymous, 07 Oct 2021Andddd, do you plan to buy it orr... ? Some online retaile... moreAnd for 140-150 euro u can buy plenty of phones unless u don't like miui. And I guess yall ignore custom rom. And atleast xiaomi provides some updates unlike motoralla. Although motorala on the edge 20 series provided 2 years of updates which is enough but no updates is quite bad.

Some online retailers are selling it for 150 or 160 euros, and for that money, it's quite decent.
                        But "XiAoMi OffERS A FHD+ ScReEn drrrR!1!".
Yeah and they come with MIUI and a bucketload of ads and junk apps.

I am going to pick my new phone (in 2 years or so) with LCD screen.
                            1. It has lower power usage.
                            2. In 4 years of life of my previous phone the screen is still working with no problems.
                            3. I don't quite like the shimmering (I'm not sensitive i.e. I don't feel sick, but I feel uncomfortable)
                            4. The cost of this piece is less compared to *OLED, so I can get other better pieces for the same price.
                            5. Half a point for better brightness (but worse black light).

That works good for me. What about you?

I don't quite understand which way devs chose for this phone. It has 90Hz refresh rate, but you can't enjoy it in games because the SoC is $hit. why else would you need this high refresh rate? It's like having a huge old tv with no tuner, no internet, 50cm in width etc. and boasting "but we have 4k!".
Another negative point is that this phone is not made for a long use, I mean it's almost 2022 and there's no 5G. Sure, you can use 4G for calls...... but so can 3G!
I would appreciate if anyone could give me a hint as to why would anyone choose this phone over other phones.
