>>These new chips should boost performance by 30% and use half as much power thanks to the 3nm gate-all-around (GAA) node.>>
Probably not. These numbers are almost always either/or, viz. either 30% more performance (for the same power, i.e. holding power constant) or 50% power reduction (for the existing level of performance, i.e. holding performance constant). Further gains are possible, of course, but such gains follow from architectural improvement not silicon process improvements.

We have reached the tip of the curve about a year ago, now we will face the wrath of exceeding the computational limit. Expecially Sammy who still experiment on end users with poorly developed technologies.

Meaning if they start to put in every phone how much do you think M, A and S series will cost? And how many do you think they would need to manufacture to put in most of the series phones? Considering we are in the global chipset shortage market :D Your plan straight away would put Samsung mobile out of business in 1 year time :D That would really inspire confidence in Exynos chipsets :D

Future is bright. 2025 will introduce almost photorealistic visuals in video games and mobiles will be as powerful as laptops. We are witnessing new computional explosion era.

samsung should skip 3 nm for themselves and sell that capacity to clients like mediatek etc. they should for now manufacture exynos 2200 so massively and use it in every phone they launch from 2022 from S to A to M series all. one chip on all phones thats it. nothing less than best. make things simple. such mass production will not only cover costs but will also increase public confidence in exynos. idk why samsung should be using snapdragon anymore on their phones in 2022. and in the background work on 2nm and bring it as early as 2023H2 or 2024 Q1.

Down to 3 and 2nm is a big achievement, the engineering involved in making a reliable transistor at that size is frankly amazing. Surely at some point it will be the law of diminishing gains. Whether that starts to cap processing speeds we'll have to wait and see.

Apparently a clarity on the chipset adoption strategy for Samsung A,M,F,S,FE,Fold,Flip,Tab series for next two years need to be published by Samsung. Until when Samsung planning to go with Mediatek chipsets for Samsung A,M,F series phones? When will the Exynos-AMD edition be available for consumption?

AnonD-994853, 08 Oct 2021You wanna be competitive? Lower your price And if we want them to lower their prices, stop replacing our phones so often. The problem with lowering prices for them is far greater than them not selling their stuff cos of higher prices.

Think big , Think ahead . I dont like "satisfied kind". Who go 'this much ram/memory/cpu is enough .
Its not like more ram and storage are adding more weight. They are only going lighter.

3nm q1 2022 impressive.
Will see if that and their partnership with Amd delivering ray tracing will hit Qualcomms high end hard.
