Meizu's CEO said the right thing in the presentation. "I was trying to convince myself that Apple was right to choose a 16:9 screen, but I got disappointed when I saw it. I trully wished that Jobs were alive." Jobs preferred 3:2 but he's gone and Apple finally gave up...

So far as I know the MX2 is the only current phone with a dedicated chipset for battery management. That plus their content adaptive backlight control, which will help with the screen's power draw, should in theory help that extra 100 mAh go a lot farther. I'm cautiously optimistic.
Nexus4, from MeizuMXon you can buy the MX quad core (unlocked HK version, 32GB) for $488. If you do their group buy it's $388. If their numbers are true, the MX2 will launch at $400 for 16GB, $480 for 32GB, and $640 for 64GB). That's right in line with what the current MX's cost, so we should be okay price-wise.
