-Trix-, 11 Oct 2021What you mean? The notch shows very well in that blue wallp... moreThis was discussed in my Marketing class once too. Open your online shopping app and check the iPhone 11, 12 and 13 phones and compare pro versions with the budget models like XR, 11, 12 and 13.
Pro models have darker wallpaper where the notch is less visible. This is to make the pro model look better in comparison though both the designs are pretty much the same.
You see that with other OEMs too but the difference is the wallpaper art itself is worse on their cheaper phones while their flagships have better art wallpapers. Just look at samsung M series and S series.
With Apple it's darker wallpapers to hide the notch on pro models and brighter wallpapers to make their budget line look cheap af with the thicc bezels and huge notch
It's less apparent with the 13 line though but it's still obvious.

Interesting how Apple always puts a dark wallpaper on their higher end models to hide the notch but not the cheaper versions.
It's also almost as if Apple is aware they have the worst design on the market.
