The new update is…..complicated. I’m not sure the reasoning behind some of the changes, but I feel like I’m learning to operate a new device I never asked for. Perhaps the changes are beneficial for some folks, but I thought it would’ve been fair to include these new features in the settings and allow folks to go in and change things they wanted; as opposed to automatically applying the changes and forcing a user to go through the cumbersome process of reverting back (as much as possible).

You do 15.0 and wait for 15.1 unless you HAVE to update for some reason...... My 6s Plus and My Dad 6s Plus and my Mothers 6s run iOS 15 buttery smooth...... it’s actually kind of weird they work so well after 6 years of updates. Also, kind of interesting, my iPad mini 2 is still doing amazing and still receiving security updates.......

So I run a Pixel with a Fossil gen 5. And an iPhone X with Apple Watch 3. The Watch is actual garbage. I say, hey google, what is the Yankees score on the watch and I get a blank screen. I try sending a text via google assistant and it says couldn’t send text. I could go on for hours comparing. I learned that if you want something that just works....stick with MacOS and iOS. If your cool with buying things that wont work properly or just don’t work. Go with Google and Microsoft. You can spend your weekends talking to someone in India cuz your emails no longer work on the Windows email app...lol cuz the mail app is considered so unsecured on Windows...

Typical Apple pushing updates faster than a bank machine counts money why not make it right the first time.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2021Updates , something Android users beg for but never receive ;)I get MONTHLY updates for my older Galaxy Note 10 Plus presently having had the SEPTEMBER version for almost a month. Samsung have become quite reliable in updating their flagship phones. Which is only what Apple sold until the arrival of the SE models.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2021This is how a serious company works , it fixes bugs found ... moreIt's why I don't generally care if there are bugs with iOS. Sure it's annoying for the moment, but it'll get fixed relatively quickly and you can be assured you'll get the update because devices break down and get unusable before updates run out. So, worrying you'll be stuck with phone that will be buggy and not receive any updates for that is pretty much impossible. They'll fix most of issues by iOS 15.1 for sure.

This is how a serious company works , it fixes bugs found after hundreds of millions of devices are updated. Or buy an Android and get a couple of updates a year if you are lucky. Not going back to Android in the forceable future.
