Perhaps the Galaxy S22 Ultra won't have a "P-shaped" camera after all.

THIS IS SO TRUE!

I refered to the weirdish P shaped Island rumored on the S22 Ultra. I detested it personally. (I would've said a bit "less nice" stuff on that P shaped Island but I don't want my comment flagged... so I'll keep it at that...) the S21's Islands are great designed. at first I feared it would ruin the experience. but especially when gaming that small hump is mega helpful.

Anonymous, 13 Oct 2021You're kidding, right? This is a top of the line and f... moreSD Card have A LOT OF OTHERS USES than just expanding the usable memory.
*Easy bootloader/recovery operations without relying on file transfers that aren't always working in this situation.
*Handy way to transfer files, either between multiple devices, to or from someone else.
      *Easy way to make backups.
*Can save data from a device who can't boot and for which the USB isn't working.
*Allow to have a rapidly TEMPORARILY expandable memory, useful for photo shooting session.

Except the stupid smartphone market, EVERYONE still makes products with 3.5mm Jack.
      *It works well.
*It has an easy native compatibility with basically everything.
*It is cheap and yet high quality.
*Used by professionals and some of the highest quality audio equipment rely on it.
*There are bazillions of existing products that already have it and are far from old.
*It can carry other signals than just audio.
*It is analog, which is better in some cases than numeric, AND can do stuff numeric can't do.
*There are some cheap/unique things that people do rely on, which use it.
*It doesn't require you to use bad or expensive dongles that aren't even cross compatible, despite being a really simple thing.
*It doesn't require you to have yet another device you have to charge.
*You can still use the USB port of your device to charge/transfer, etc while still using it.
*You don't stupidly help to destroy the planet by getting rid of perfectly working equipment just because it is trending to have the new one, despite all the cons it has.
*You don't lock users and equipments out of certain features.
*You respect the choice of users to NOT use Bluetooth if they don't want to.
*It doesn't take any relevant amount of space, and having it STILL let you use your Bluetooth without you having to try to kill it.

But apparently this is too hard to understand for some people that despite all of this, it is still worth keeping, and they shouldn't have their word to say when it comes to OTHER PEOPLE's CHOICES/PREFERENCES.

This is a typical smartphone community, GSMArena anonymous user type of comment :
"I don't want something, so it has to disappear as if I don't use it, surely no one else wants or have a use for it."
The smartphone market would be much better without people like you always hating on features for no reasons.

That photo with the red phone looked like an Xperia ngl

These dual islands feel like they made one large one and then later decided to just bolt another one next to it. Looks pretty bad, like it ws an afterthought. Not a fan of it at all. I do like the S21 camera hump.

bro that white hits different. I hope they make a matte ice white, that would be dope

This might be my next phone. It looks damn hot in red.

FATBOYONADIET, 13 Oct 2021You dont understand because its absolutely nothing like it! S22U is told to be like Note 20U, just different cam shape.
Note 20U has loop design, like XZ1.
                        With curved screen.

                          Also, thicker than a book.

789 is 1/1.42". You cannot have it behind 50-70mm lens without making it too huge.
Any sensor behind a 50mm lens for example have whole module thicker than same sensor behind 25mm lens.

Let the number crazed chinese use it first and focus on perfecting the 108mp, I would rather they use the gn1 rather than hp1 because it actually has good auto focus and not relying on the laser one. Also, in what world an IMX789 sensor would go to the tele camera? It's a massive 50mp 1/1.5" 1 micron sensor, Samsung would go so far as capping their 64mp GW1 sensor, a 1/1.7" 0.8 micron sensor to 28mm or something then digitally crop them, even sometimes s20 fe 8mp 3x optical one is better than s20 64mp 3x hybrid one. You can't just put them as a normal tele or you would need something with the camera bump thickness of 2 phone stacked on top of each other. What they would use is a new 12mp Dual Pixel sensor from Sony that has 1/2.9" and 1.22 micron for both the tele and periscope.

If there is enough space a for stylus, there is enough space for a headphone jack.
