Best phone ever. I have the Rugby II. It is indestructable. It sat overnight in my dog water dish and fired right up. Save $400 or more a year by refusing to jump on the Smartphone bandwagon. I have a computer. I don't need a smartphone. Great sound, great talking, texting, pics. Sounds way better than any iphone or galaxy I've used. Battery lasts a week without a charge.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2012The reason this phone is so crap and obsolete is because of... moreGood videos, great phone, yet it is a smartphone, it does not prove anything, if you are saying that because a rugged smartphone available no one should buy rugged feature phone, then you are just saying: because we have smartphones no one should buy feature phones.

          I don't agree.

          - Believe it or not, there are people who don't want or need smartphones even when they can buy them.

          - Smartphones are expensive even when you can buy them on 2 years contract for $99.

          - most smartphone needs recharging every day, many feature phones could work for a week without recharging.

          - some people needs a device to make calls, that's all they need, why should they buy something that offer more than that?

          - is there anything wrong with buying feature phones? i wish someone will have a good answer, and no, smartphone is not a good answer.

No need to call it "crap" just because it does not suit your liking.

i'm an android and a feature phone user who love 'em both.. for me android is integrated to my daily life, while feature phone always comes in handy when it comes to battery life.. so both are useful..

"$99.99 with a two-year contract" That sounds expensive for a phone that is just tough. It will still brake if you throw it on the ground, small screen and again too expensive..100$ for a 2 year contract...pff.

Unless it is slim(unlikely), the battery lasts at list 7 days with calls and some internet and is capable of loading full sites, too expensive.
                                      So without contract 250-300$?

99$ in a 2 year contract for a feature phone?! They must be crazy... If someone wants an extremely durable phone, why not get the Nokia 3310...
