For example in games, the iPhone loses in performance because of bad cooling.
You can't just win in real world with a bunch of cpu/gpu benchmarks, the software optimization, hardware cooling, etc also matters.

      its funny, 120fps ?
Genshin Impact sure is graphically heavy but its not very well optimize. Even the M1 chip struggles to maintain 60fps
      You see,
Black desert Mobile which is graphically heavier runs smooth 60 fps on snapdragon 735g.

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2021You are not allowed to talk about that at Anandtech. I h... moreA-series SoCs inside the older iPhones had a very high peak power consumption, hence battery degradation resulted in unexpected shutdowns (since these SoCs often drew more power than those degraded batteries could support). A decrease in peak performance is hard to quantify as all battery cells degrade at different rates depending on the batch or user usages, so you're probably better of reading numbers off Geekbench browser to have an idea of the situation instead of waiting for the proper "review" that would be impossible for them to write.

"OnePlus using little cores for useless cpu hog chrome browser was cheating according to them"
And according to Geekbench as well, I'm afraid. It's considered cheating when a manufacturer uses a list to determine in which apps they boost or throttle the SoC. It has always been like that since an Android phone cheated in the benchmarks for the first time and forever will be that way.

"Yet no article as to how phones with geekBench single core score of 850 outperforming iPhone with score of 1500"
They don't, quit making stuff up. End of story.

GSMArena should get rid of the swarm of anonymous posters (one of them is literally named N*** Officer) as well as the users posting all the anti-Apple comments below.
They always post comments that praise Xiaomi and Samsung while bashing Apple, Sony, and others into oblivion ***using the same vocabulary set***, and I'm having a very difficult time understanding why those multi-IP trolls still haven't been completely banned yet on this website. It's ridiculous, really.

[deleted post]Loollll you can’t even name it yourself also 🤡

[deleted post]You should buy vivo X70 Pro+ for yourself.

Your father will be more than happy with something like the Nord 2 or OnePlus 9RT or even a MI 10t pro which is under 500 euros.

For tablet, you can go with either Mi Pad 5 Pro or Lenovo pad Pro.

The performance was as good as gaming phones with Snapdragon 888.

IPhone simply has poor cooling and ifans need to accept that sooner or later.
On paper benchmarks don't count in the real world.

I have yet to see Anandtech write a detailed review on how much performance and battery degradation was happening when Apple was fined for batterygate.
                                        Surprisingly no article is found.

OnePlus using little cores for useless cpu hog chrome browser was cheating according to them, even though hardly anyone in the real world noticed a difference. But Apple using little votes and getting more battery life is perfectly fine.

When Android turns on performance mode (which is also available to the user these days) on benchmarks, they call it cheating.
