Notice the lady wakes up with no husband in bed. (That's because he's working his ass off to support his entire family. ) While his wife stays at home playing finger VR yet claims she's extremely stressed out and deserves to be acknowledged and compensated simply for existing.

So THAT'S what Professor Farnsworth was wearing in Futurama, not glasses!

The only reason HTC is surviving is because of their VR goggle sales.

Every electronic device will launch at a higher price than what it is worth to take advantage of hype and demand. Wait for a couple of months after it releases in your market, the price will fall down.

This is the same with smartphones too.

"Consuming media": enjoy your 50ppi equivalent dotty mess.

Thing is way too close to your face/eyes. Those pitiful resolutions won't cut it for content consumption. Wake me up when VR goggles go to 4k and over. Until then they are a slight amelioration of the 2012 occulus design. Making a piece of shhhhh smaller doesn't solve the fact that it is apiece of shhhh

Quite innovative. Looks amazing as well. Inbuilt battery would have been good but. Probably skipped for weight reasons.

So you go out dancing but virtually, instead of going out to the real club? It is serious that humans are regressing

Anyone remember Google Cardboard? When you could have phone VR for (almost) free?

I went on their website it not compatible with most IOS and phones that has exynos chipsets.
Checked my phone is not compatible. Seems only small selection phones it will work on.

HTC following LG's path. Did exactly what LG in launching unnecessary products and eventually becoming defunct.

Basically a monitor you can wear on your head, light weight processing.. so it can be paired with a lower powered cpu.

no build in battery, barebone apps when standalone, so to keep the weight down.. so you can wear for longer sessions.

This will be the concept that Apple will use when they launch their VR / AR IMO. Which i guess.. when Apple release theirs, Android fanboys will point to this product.

RIP HTC, this stupid product will most likely fail.

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2021So….what exactly is the point of this? For $500?it's HTC, their phone with helio P22 even priced at $200 so it's "normal" this VR for $500.
