A power bank should apparently make an appearance too.

But somehow I have a feeling we will see the Nothing phone being assembled by BBK. Remember when Oneplus said they are not a subsidiary of Oppo? Yeah, history will repeat itself.

Anyone else expecting another "Surprise, but not really!" in 2022 when Nothing announced their phone will be manufactured in 'collaboration' with Oppo?

Surprising no one, as its Nothing to get surprised about

AnonD-909757, 16 Oct 2021Smartphones from the guy who helped OnePlus become worse an... moreExactly... just the cycle of start up smartphone companies.

PorkHotdog, 15 Oct 2021It's not related to bbkActually, yes and no. Pei has exited, has no ties anymore with BBK but Nothing had funds from BBK though shell companies and so on.

Soooooooo ... Let's see perhaps what happens, but imho, I think he really wanted to start something like OnePlus because he could feel the little downhill that OnePlus has encountered recently.

I've always said that, even with all his 'flaw', he saw the sh#t coming and that's why he exited. Maybe the next OnePlus, who knows? The progress made in camera department alone could be a huge hit a good price point/competitivity.

Obviously value for money is a big thing, but it's nearly impossible to beat Xiaomi and Realme at this point. I think making a stellar product for a decent price with some kind of market differentiator (like unskinned Android) is a better way to go.

Smartphones from the guy who helped OnePlus become worse and unoriginal overpriced generic devices, shit on the fans and didn't put back the 3.5mm Jack after the poll he made and deleted reached 88% of people saying they want it didn't go as he thought rather than actually listening to them.
Yeah, guess what I am expecting from them...
                            Exactly.

You can be damn sure they'll make craps generic phones with no 3.5mm Jack, punch hole/notch and 2Mp sensors, and a curved edge display if it is a flagship.
