As usul I read lots of nonsense regarding multicores...
WP runs already very smooth just on a single core. As I use all 3 OS'es I can tell you that only WP runs very smooth on a single core what cannot real be told from the other operating systems. Knowing this, I can only gues (till now) that WP8 will runn "very" smooth. No offence to the other systems as I also love the flexibility of Android and the fluidity of IOS (but thats all for IOS) but from a stablity point of view as well as the huge potential that WP still has (while IOS and Android seemingly are slowing down) and also remembering the fiasco of the old WIN CE platform up to 6.x I have to say that WP is Nr 1 too me.

Nobody wants a locked phone. Moreover this windowsphone is so obsolete that nobody will buy it under a contract. Only a crazy guy. On January samsung release 8 core phones, so better wait samsung releases.
