The price is right...i hope they sell over 10 million. Hopefully there won't be any major issues with these phones.

ae86, 19 Oct 2021Something tells me that those leaks are intentional by Goog... moreAll these leaks intentional. Google started to advertise their devices like OnePlus. Create Hype and deliver nothing.

Still niche products when Apple sells at least 50M per generation. Google will never be mainstream when it comes to selling their own hardware. They lack retail stores except one in NYC. Most people enjoy Android and their services but don't actually buy their tangible products. Even Chrome OS is a waste of money and time for most desktop users.

I think the Pixel 3 will be the last Pixel phone I'll ever buy. It's actually a near perfect phone to me. Size is perfect. Photos are near perfect. Still runs very fast and fluid. Battery life is only about average but that area will always get improved by future phones. The Pixel 6 lacks appeal to me. Even at $600, I don't want a phone that big and the back being glossy like that. The camera didn't beat the Pixel 5 in my eyes at night.

I wonder what the qc is like. Owing to google's history, i'm betting 10%.

Still it won't be available in my country. They could at least let me order it from an other country

The price over performance ratio is not good.
I think the expectation of 7 million sales is highly exaggerated.

Anonymous, 19 Oct 2021Htc probably does not sell 10% of this. Still has no plan... moreyes i know pixel only made $400+ phones so does LG too with some $400 phones and many $200 low end phones. they shipped 23m in 2020.

You need to see if they make money out of pixels.
                                  Not just look at sales.
LG was selling more than most brands, still had to quit after losing over $1 billion per year.

Now if they just release it officially in nordic region of europe i would gladly spend my money on Pixel 6.
But cant help the feeling they over do the RAM on "vanilla" android it being 12GB on Pro model.

iGod, 19 Oct 2021Interesting, Google working with China, tells us something. They are moving away from China; they're using them for now since they can't get it working in Vietnam this year. If you want something not built in China wait for the Pixel 7 series or get the 5a 5G, 5, 4a etc.
