But people use to say just TFT the old versions of LCD, that does not have IPS (LG) or LPS (Samsung) tech.
Emmc is type of storage used before the UFS.
Its speed is bit faster than micro sd cards class 10, not much over 100Mb/s.

All them want iphone .... But buy redmi note because of the price.
Better buying an iphone and keep for 5 years, than every year buy a redmi note.
Person would be way happier, also Nature would thank ...

AnonD-994853, 21 Oct 2021What is tft lcd? Is id different from ips lcd? Also, what i... moreevery lcd has a tft. dumb people on this site confuse TFT with TN. the best pro calibrated monitors costing thousands of dollars like the Pro XDR also use TFT, that's the core material needed to make LCDs.
TN displays are the worst type of LCDs with horrible viewing angles and dull colors, but not a single phone out there for the past 10 years has it, every one is IPS, only cheap laptops use TN. (but $999 macbook air used TN until 2017 🤣)
Emmc is a flash storage type. nowadays most android use UFS, but some budget device, and before 2015 every android device, used emmc. the problem of emmc is that it has easy to fail and die and that it can only read OR write data at a time (cannot do both) so it's very sluggish. the fastest emmc (emmc 5.1) will still feel slower than the first original UFS (2.0).

Samsung high end still good but not competitive

[deleted post]Even though 'NOT buying' any chinese phone would be the best thing, but since most of them are 'Made in India', a lot of the money actually goes back into Indians hands, so it's technically not the worst option but still far from ideal given how we lack any real competition from Asus/Nokia/HTC/Sony, etc
Samsung as usual was doing good upto a point (M31s) but then started behaving like these chinese oems by dishing out rebranded/cloned phones every month with loads of bloatware and adds, not to mention the usual Samsung "premium", which in a price conscious market as India where the bulk of the sales are below 20k or 25k, is ruled by chinese oems.
I bought the X7 Max (12/256) for 28k, because the only non-chinese option at the time of my purchase was F62/Note 10Lite/Reno2/A52 (not A52-5G and ofc not the A52s).
I really really loved the Note10Lite, it was nigh perfect (OIS, triple useful cam, microSD, 3.5mm HP jack), just the 3+ yr old chipset was a bummer, I wished that they released a Note20Lite alongside the S20FE, but we didn't get that.
I loved the M51 and then obv the F62, but the size/weight was a bit too much (if it was

i think what this means is that BBK is the leader - as Vivo - Reamle - Oppo combined shipments is approx 21 million - way higher that Xiaomi and Samsung ...
