My old S7 was a beautiful device, made of glass and metal and... in 5 seconds it became a phone in a cheap plastic case (expensive for a case but not made of glass or anything fancy).

As for design, it can be great, but I use cases. And cases with smallest amount of protection take away 70% of design. If you use anything other than silicone case, forget about design immediately.
Camera - for me "true flagship" camera should have OIS. And I want to have 16mp or more. I'd love a phone with 108mp->20+mp camera with OIS and a headphone jack that makes decent pictures, costs around 500 euro and isn't made by Xiaomi (bad experience), has GMS, but I don't know of such a device.
As I mentioned earlier, 3.5mm jack. This is vital to me.
And these are the things that matter to me personally. I don't care about the rest all that much (6gb ram vs 8+, 750 vs 778 or better SoC etc).
From my point of view, A52s offers a better value package at a similar price (cheaper and more features). But to everyone their own. If you value design and are OK with curve, Huawei may be a better choice for you (especially if you can live without GMS, since I'm tied to it pretty hard).

No need for ultra max settings settings either. This cant even do medium 60 on genshin lol. Good for the average user, sure. Give them sd 720 and they'll say the same. Superior screen,superior OS, +superior ecosystem,superior IP protection,superior camera setup(imagine not having OIS in 500€ phone),superior connectivity(imagine not having 5G on a 500€ phone in 2021.).
And all this in almost 200€ cheaper phone.

A52S 5G mops the floor with that Huawei and costs 180€ less. 320€ currently in stores in Croatia.

Sorry its a joke Huawei! No Google Play Services, no SD card, no 3.5mm jack, just Snapdragon 778G and 4G when Samsung have 5G for 500€ and Google Play with Galaxy S20 FE or Samsung Galaxy A52 5G for ~ 420€ ?!

If 5g is not your requirement, better go to Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G. Quite cheap as of today. Just 370 euro in Europe
