24 October 2021
The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are available only in a handful of countries, so that some would-be buyers can only watch from a distance.

US prices are reasonable but here in The Netherlands for example it's grey import so it's way over 1000 euro for the 6 Pro. Too expensive.

Pixel 6 pro looks interesting, but the beta phone will probably work normally when pixel 8 is out. Because then the beta flaws are hopefully fixed. Only a fool pays full price for a phone that comes with mistakes that should have been fixed during beta state.

I will have to wait for few months maybe 2, so it'll be available here with pricing that is even higher than the original pricing smh.

If Apple really wants to have piece of that market share then release it globally, like globally! Take the risk smh.

a big fat no! both are to big, both have curved edges (non flat screens), both have no 3.5mm, an 300 more just for 1 decent extra cmos! the article doesn't say whether you can take full 50mp pics either (probably not with google so they can make use of the soc algorithms).

typical people say "yes i'll buy" but not buying it until the end.

And some people also say "i dont like the phone/i dont care" but finally change his mind and buy that phone months later.

There should be more people will settle for a Pixel 6a. 🤔

                    clicked "looking at other phones"...
but does not mean i am not interested with pixel 6...
and i like the nonpro more, over the pro...
no curves, top space at the back is just okay...
though, we still have the punched hole...

Nope - phones are too big, skip. Pixel 5 for at least another year.

Despite hating Google from bottom of my heart, I kinda wanted one since the beginning. It's finally a flagship level device and despite that visor being very polarizing design, I like the fact phone doesn't rock on the table at all with it and that Google is finally offering guaranteed 5 years of software updates (which they yet again didn't clarify if it's 3+2 or full 5 years of major OS updates).

Just unsure on the model. Vanilla is tempting because it's virtually the same and isn't obnoxiously oversized while having pretty reasonable price, but that larger battery and LTPO display with tele lens in Pro is tempting. And they don't even charge outlandish price for it. $899 is a lot, but I was expecting $1200. I guess they'll make up the difference by mining user's habits...

Would have considered getting one if it offered 5 years of updates. Google's 6th attempt and we are still at 3 years of updates, says enough about their confidence behind their own products. Also, the device is way too heavy, the vanilla one.

I saw this video of how good the telephoto quality the 6 Pro takes compared to the vanilla 6 which dropped my jaw to the floor. i am definitely going to get 2 vanilla 6s and one 6 Pro for my mom or my brother.

I really like the vanilla 6 a lot because of its smaller flat screen, but that 48MP telephoto camera on the 6 Pro? I'll definitely take that one. After all, I use telephoto more than ultrawide. To date, only six phones have a large Megapixel telephoto camera. It's just a shame that Pixel phones aren't available everywhere. It reminds me of LG all over again.
