    Well, the swiss company should go cry to Haga, near them. Patent or no patent, the system as many others was developed by Samsung. Look at Apple, stealing the notch from Chinese phones.

              Phones fan, 22 Oct 2021It seems that Vlaputinea is angry with Korea.We all know that countries that follow the Stalinist doctrine usually have the propensity of poaching intellectual & technological property that their system is unable to produce/manufacture while pilloriing the system coming up with the coveted devices.
              Chances are the Russians either stole it directly via their spooks or reverse engineered Samsung Pay!

                So the problem is bundling the Samsung pay app with the phones. This is why they should debloat their phones and the customer given an option during initial setup to setup these apps.
                Then they will not face issues selling the phone

                  Weird that it's Swiss based company and not Russia based. Well you cant build something big when being in Russia cause then the government takes it from you. Also when soviet union was then all the countries who are in that union not by choice didnt get to invent anything cause when you went to Moscow to patent your invention then it was stolen from you.

                              Very "smart" move banning Samsung Pay in Russia, Samsung Pay is the only one solution if you want to use all of your Visa, Mastercard and MIR cards in one app, Google Pay doesn't support MIR yet. When i used Samsung Galaxy, Samsung pay was pretty stable and it's support MIR debit/credit cards.

                                    It'll be interesting to see what they actually patent.
                                    Whether its downright the same, or its just somewhat similar, or its just broad patent troll.
                                    Its genuinely more interesting as the rule stickler EU actually allows Samsung but somehow Russia doesn't.
