This phone and Honor 50 is almost exactly the same (according to GSMArena). The only 4 major difference that I observed are:
1. Honor got pre-installed GMS; at least the current version launched in Malaysia - seems like Chinese ROM don't come pre-installed with GMS but it's expected (read: regardless of any brand, most -if not all- Chinese released version don't come with GMS).
2. The main rear camera Honor 50(108MP) vs Nova 9(64MP).
3. 5G vs 4G; although both are using same SoC.
4. Price Honor 50 (€402) vs Nova 9 (€499).
Now, I can't wait for someone to do a real world comparison of these two.

Many toturials are to be found online, did it with my honor note 10, and saw people do it with their Huawei mate 30... There are a few different ways tho...

Can't wait for battery test. My Nova 5T still going strong after 18 months. Even with latest updates and all the battery limits on, easily breezes through busy days and 7+ SOT. Best phone I ever owned.

You don't need Google or location services. All it takes is one phone that makes calls, lets you install third-party apps (by sideload, thanks to its open-source system) for messaging, social and whatever you wnatand is good at battery and camera screen. A beautiful cellphone so with these features is, it is will be, desirable by many.
