Its funny how people can really argue over apple and android. U should be more worried about your battery giving up on you before the day runs out than anything else. My advice,don't get too attached to phone features instead consider battery before purchase, get ur self a ps3 if your into gaming. Long live play long live sony

you really think people buy SGS III for its big screen... then u know nothing about phones.... iphone 5 lags a lot in features n if u have read earlier news about samsung making an 8 core chip apple doesnt even have quad core ... the biggest problem of iphone is that it is not user friendly, u cannot customize ur home screen whereas android phones have the best of customization n user interface.... only a long screen wont just get iphone to rank 1... pplz u better get ur facts cleared

So applefanboys can brag about their iphones not being abandoned but in reality, those so called updates just means a higher os version number. Haha

Woww. Just wait January new release of Samsung Galaxy S4 !!! which has 8 (eight) cores, 13 megapixel camerca, hd screen, and latest android. This is 3 times better than latest iphone5. Iphone is dead now :)

Can't your'll see... these phones ment... moreI don't mind if the device i have is "too common" as it means a bigger user base and more forums to look through should you get a problem, it also means that when the device is no longer supported officially the guys over at xda are likely to have a library of custom roms to choose from, they have ics and jb roms for the i9000 original galaxy s which was never supported officially beyond gb 2.3.6. Anyway no 2 devices are identical as people will load different apps and customisations, it's just the hardware that's the same.
Also i agree with an earlier poster that you see a lot of iphone 4/4s (hard to tell which at a distance) but not the 5, maybe, in England at least, people aren't blindly buying the new iPhone just because it's an iPhone maybe thinking about their needs or if there are better options whether it be an older model iPhone or an Android or wp or even a bb.

The sgs3 screen has been compared to the iPhone 5s by many reviews and they were mostly agreeing that they were both good.
Of course the colours on retina are more natural, but the AMOLED screen has more vivid colours.

File system, Bluetooth transfer and USB storage are part of the same different open ended OS. NFC is still fringe tech for now, bigger screen is a matter of opinion and quad core is dependent on the OS. Qualcomm even said that smartphones run fine on dual.
The only thing I miss are niche features like FM radio and USB, but I have a 128gb flash drive for file transfers that just plugs in.
