AnonD-12210, 05 Dec 2012You see every android says the same thing you said. How man... moreFirst iphone was sold exclusively in the US for the longest time. The Iphone has 2-3 models only differencing in available memory. How many different models of Nokia were available since 2007 until now? Can you name any Nokia that retailed for $499+ that sold as many units as Samsung Galaxy S II? S III? Note? Note II? Iphone 3GS? Iphone 4? Iphone 4S? Iphone 5? You can't can you? Again, Nokia fanboys are hard headed. They refuse to accept any factual information. uSwitch doesn't even have the Lumia devices in their top 10. In the US the Lumia 920 can still be easily purchased in black and white. So now that UK and USA is a flop you're using the "Look forward to China Markets" as another hope? Even though statistics indicates that Android and Iphones are top demand there?

Its new and will take time. 5 million will be enough to keep nokia in the hunt. And from there they can capitalise further. Dont cry over app support. It will come with time. Did android have large quantity of apps since its 1st version(which was hopeless as compared to wp7). And actually WP ecosystem is growing faster than android did. Isnt that amazing. So it isnt gloom and doom,as u would like to believe.

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2012Isn't that always the Nokia fanboy excuse? Wait until Symbi... moreHahah you are so right, they always say Wait.
About china copies, yes there is no Nokia now. Less than 2 weeks ago i went with a friend to buy her a cheap china phone, while we were there i looked around at all the fakes. Yup, No Nokia now. Sure theres a lot of fake iphones and blackberry still, but which brand is the most copied now? Yes, Samsung. There were fake Galaxy Note and S2 and S3 everywhere, but only 3 of the vendors had fake iphones.
The Galaxy name is what sells fakes now, blackberry still popular, iphones seem to decline, and Nokia is gone. Ok, lets hope there will be at least one fake Bezelbub 920 from china soon, Nokia will be so proud eheh.

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2012Isn't that always the Nokia fanboy excuse? Wait until Symbi... moreYou see every android says the same thing you said. How many devices did 1st iphne sold ? How many did second ,third sold ? They were still behind nokia. Turnaround doesnt take place in one quarter. Step by step it will take place. And FYI ip5 is nt available for china mobile

AnonD-12210, 05 Dec 2012Can we come back to present ? Still are you expecting it to... moreIsn't that always the Nokia fanboy excuse? Wait until Symbian S^3, wait until Windows Phone 7.5, Wait until Windows Phone 8, Wait until it reaches Chinese market, Wait until Windows Phone 30... You guys are like the never ending prophecy tellers. Telling great stories of great futures that will always just be a day away. Windows phone sucks. I own the Lumia 920 in white. The one I currently own is my second unit. The first one was defective and needed to be returned. The second one is working fine. The unit is solidly built, I like it but the OS sucks. NO app support. I bank with several banks and not all of them have apps in the marketplace. The Microsoft built facebook app pales in comparison to the iOS or the android version. I'm using my Galaxy S 3 more even though I like the weight of the 920. You make it sound like the chinese still care about Nokia. There hasn't been a nokia clone in forever, 90% of Chinese smartphone is Android, what makes you think the launch of the Lumia 920 will make any dent? Iphone 5 hasn't been released in China either. What makes you think they'll chose the Lumia over the Iphone 5?

selling out this building will definitely affect the company's operation. There's a big different between a landlord and a tenant because of this, the level of operation will be limited.

AnonD-12210, 05 Dec 2012Can we come back to present ? Still are you expecting it to... more5 mill would be total failure. For example Note 2 will have sold almost 10 million 3 months after its launch, Galaxy S3 will probably reach almost 50 million total (unless Note 2 steals many customers away from S3 as well).
I cant help it but comparing NOte 2 and Bezelbub 920.
Bezelbub is heavier but Note 2 has a 55% bigger battery, much bigger display. 100% bigger RAM, higher performance, its fast and smooth and stable. And so on. Some reviewers already pointed out instability with Bezelbub920 and WP8, and thats exactly the Microsoft we all know so well, unstable. Sorry but all in all Bezelbub is a bad buy, only suitable for android haters.

Nokia won't die that fast, the nokia+android may not happen too. A fighter won't bow down to a enemy. Nokia might be on a struggle but i believe that they will be back sooner or later. We all know that great companies face this kind of situations.

As it is an uphill climb for nokia, anything around 5 million is great. And it is nt launched in china and india ! So expect nokia to rise ,but major things will happen nxt yr.

But now m enjoying ma holidays :) yyyyeah....it seems you are working even in your holiday, sumsang is paying well, most of android fanboys have a verry short memory apparently because when their "trully amazing" OS came out it was so rubbish and still they gave it a chance. Guys, just try something and then comment on it, and forget about the word perfect, there is no perfect phone, OS, just enjoy the competition...

AnonD-12210, 05 Dec 2012Sorry but if nokia had stuck with symbian or meego/maemo , ... moreSo you already forgot the Lumia 800 and 900 hype? It resulted in nothing, and Nokia refused to say how much of their smartphone revenue came from N9, because they wanted us to think they sold lots of WP, but the first quarter this was almost entirely thanx to N9. Later even the N9 sales dropped, and so did NOkias smartphone revenue.
Anyway i can get a 920 for around $150 or less, sim free, i just might get it to make sure the Nokia fanboys are not feeding me with more MS propaganda and video samples from pro camcorders. Im abroad for a few months now and cant get it yet, could take a while.

AnonD-12210, 05 Dec 2012So what ? If the sales are low , then they should shut the ... moreFighting back? I thought we talking Nokia here, the company that willingly and with open eyes let themselves go from great success to great failure. And instead of fighting back they sold out to MS to promote their long line of failed win mobile OS'. They chose quick cash over innovation.
Nokia should have stayed with Maemo, it had progressed so far with the N900 and is by far the most solid mobile OS ever, and even more impressive is the fact that its not even a mobile OS but more like a full desktop OS, was stupid to start from scratch again with MeeGo (which isnt even that good, everyone who had N900 and then tried N9 have to admit that Meego was a big step backwards, it started from scratch instead of building on the maturity and rigidness of Maemo, intel and nokia must share the blame for giving birth to the bastard OS Meego).
Maemo/N900 was a computer trying to be a phone, while all others, Meego included, are phones trying to be computers. I would never have gone Android if Nokia had given us a dualcore maemo device, something with decent performance, but instead they came out with N9? N9????
