They themselves purchased a phone that they can give demo of, but that's it. They do have dummy models for the touch, weight and size factor.

Redmi 2 did surprise me even back then.. but after that, Redmi 3 and 4 were good enough, then the series went downhill. On the Note side, Redmi Note 3 and Note 4 were great, after that it went down. Redmi note 5 pro was almost a radio in comparison.
It could be even the older chipsets being good (most sets with Snapdragon 625 were quite good at headphone audio, some Moto's and Samsungs too), or it could be Mi's decision, I'm not aware who exactly.

I did check K20 Pro, it was good, not the best there is, but apart from that, none.

How do we check them anyways? If a guy buys it in my friends' circle, I give it a go.
The Mi showroom doesn't want to seal-open brand new phones for demo purposes.

Just because you don't need them doesn't mean others cannot claim for so. Yes, the market is niche but that doesn't invalidate my needs. Nobody can judge everything on the same scale.

When should the redmi note 11pro will launch

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2021I think you'll surprised by the quality of the audio f... moreI tried Redmi 5 Note, Redmi 7 Note Pro, Redmi 8 Note, and ended up disappointed. Now, I can't keep on testing everything they bring, but this tells how things have changed.
Audio was good in these 3 phones, but on my favourite tracks & headphones, I could spot things ending up not as good as expected. I would say these devices, are about 95% of my expectation.
And then the LG G8x raised the bar so high that I replaced my Redmi 2 with it.

High resolution audio is just a technicality, its just that your high-res files (yes, you need special high res audio files) will be played at a higher resolution, extending beyond normally heard frequencies. Many even argue that humans can't hear this much and not many could distinguish high res from normal in a blind test.

High res is more of a quantity thing, separate from the real audio quality. But if you say, I'll try getting my hands on this RN11 and check it with my headphones to see if things changed for the good.... its quite possible things might've changed in the meanwhile.

They are using integrated DACs with their audio tweeks and it sound bad. The only good thing in audio department is that they are using stereo speakers system but 3.5mm output is bad.

                              Those days are far gone.
Upto Redmi 3 or 4, things were ok. Hopeless now.

That said, yes, Redmi 11 should be smaller than Redmi Note 11, but marginally.
Redmi 10 is 6.5 inch. Even Redmi 9A, the smallest phone in the line, is around this size only.

                                Mi has lost the plot.

The older Mi had good, high quality stuff with a minimal software and low weight and size. And I miss it terribly.

Today's Mi only has quality in display and cameras, not audio. Even an older Redmi 2 is better. Filled to the brim with unneeded, unavoidable bloatware and heavy, huge devices, its nothing like the initial days.
High resolution audio is a good marketing term that fools people into believing their phones are great at music. As if they can hear beyond 20Hz and 20 kHz, and it matters a lot.
I'm a LG G8x owner here, and I know better.

Maybe this is just Redmi 11, not Redmi Note 11?

If this is 6.6 inch, will Redmi 11 be like 6.7+ inches? I think Xiaomi should present some smaller option, not just bigger with every generation.

Ahhh yes the famous "you pay us one hundred thousand dollars and you can slap our logo on your phone" cooperation. The flat sides are sexy though, I'm surprised more companies don't copy iPhone with that.
