Snapdragon 865
1x 2.84 GHz -Cortex-A77
3x 2.42 GHz -Cortex-A77
4x 1.8 GHz - Cortex-A55

Dimensity 1200
1x 3 GHz - Cortex-A78
3 x 2.6 GHz - Cortex-A78
4x 2 GHz - Cortex-A55

New generation cores, higher speed, smaller casting size, you might think it will definitely beat it, but the difference is only 3% so this varies a lot as to which one is better

              around 5% but not more than 10% when compared2
              my new ly bought oppo f9 pro which drains 1% over
              night powered by a mediatek chipset 4 a2019phone
              i have around 10smart phones so i have the chance
              to observe all their battery life as i dont really use all
              of them although i do charge all of my smartphones
              i will only buy mediatek chipsets from now onwards

                  Shouldn't have ditched Snapdragon, as Redmi Note 10 was a budget masterpiece, it was so well optimised. I am not sure about this new chipset.

                      There is huge difference between G72 and G57 especially shader core size. G72 shader could 8FMA per clock per core while G57 could 32FMA. So totally G72MC3 could 24FMA per clock while G57MC2 could 64FMA.

                        Hope they drop prices on M3 & replace the release price of M3 on M4. With these budget 5G devices hopefully will help 5G demand to increase.

                          Vikass17, 27 Oct 2021That means Dimensity is worse than Exynos 9611. 4x A73 ar... moreIt is not exactly that way things work, not only the cores matter, also the casting size, the number of transistors (spoiler 4 times more) D810 is almost 100% higher on CPU and 50% on GPU , and without counting that it is not an oven and has better energy efficiency, also you are only counting the A73, there is also A53 vs. A55

I have seen no innovation for ages. I think it's a limited space and the room for innovation is not really there. Pop up cameras.....didn't work out. Gimmicks like botches and refresh Rates, faster charging. They all look pretty much the same.

                                      Don't really like Exynos, and also Samsung pricing is too high.

                                        That means Dimensity is worse than Exynos 9611.
                                        4x A73 are better than 2x A76.
                                        G72 MP3 is better than G57 MC2.
