So availability is better on them than amd then again, cpus are less scalped than gpus so they can be had easier anyways whether intel or amd.

    Xiaomi is world's 3rd largest phone manufacturer
    Because it's cheap and gives a good amount of performance
    It doesn't mean it's best

      It only requires 330watts of power inorder to beat the current AMD flagship cpu.

Stock was low, but I was able to order one within 2 weeks of trying. Finding a prebuilt systems with Ryzen chips or GPUs is completely possible in this market. You'll just pay a premium on the device. You can always go with a budget Intel system as well.

          kek, 28 Oct 2021I wonder how are they gaining market share if literally no ... moreI'll add that I'm due for an upgrade and I wanted to buy an AMD laptop, but its literally imposible to get one unless you want to wait months for it to arrive, get a shitty screen/battery or a combination of both.

          I have been waiting since last year, and it sucks. Meanwhile, I have seen several good Intel laptops go by with 10th gen (which I skipped because 14nm++ on business laptops), Tiger Lake arrived and it's selling, and Alder Lake will arrive in a month or so

            In the real world and outside of games, you pick what's available and works for you, not what's considered "best" by some youtubers. Sure, if there were AMD chips available, then yes, go AMD.

              I think if Windows / Linux can handle this new big.LITTLE arrangement from Intel then these could be very good CPUs. You're not getting any less performance cores than before, but you're getting efficiency cores which would allow for fully maxing out the performance cores without rendering your system useless. The i5 looks like it'll be a standout.

                      Wkk, 27 Oct 2021They dont mention the nm of the processors so, another 7+ n... moreAlder Lake's technology node is Intel 7 which is also known as 10ESF or 10nm Enhanced SuperFin. 10ESF is the successor of 10SF (10nm SuperFin) which was used in Tiger Lake Mobile Processors.

                      Intel couldn't make the node smaller so they changed the rules of the game and changed the naming scheme to fool customers.

                        They dont mention the nm of the processors so, another 7+ nm while AMD are doing better but beign silent...they dont need that much of attention even dont need to launch a new series every half year or so.

                        Intel move are desperate, they are not selling well...otherwise this processors only hit the market on february.

                        Sorry Intel, you are playing the wrong cards.
