There is however tons of no name brands from eBay and AliExpress where they just lie about specs. But that has to be assumed when 108Mpix 4K OLED 120Hz display phone with 5000 battery and god knows what chipset costs $150. You know they had to lie across the board for that. But who even buys those no name things anyways?

Xiaomi is using Samsung panel, not a panel from some no name Chinese supplier.
You people can continue to hate Chinese brands but the reality is that they have kicked out all those traditional brands from the market. This wouldn't have happened unless their products were high quality.

Does not matter if units sold were more or less (and they were more by the way)
They are earning more money.
LG sold 10x more devices, lost 1 billion dollars per year before leaving.
Sales alone mean nothing if there is no profit.
It is better to sell X units and make Y money than selling 2X but making 0.7Y.
Which was happening to LG, because almost all sales were K series.

They turned the flagships into "premium" stuff with lack of headphone jack and SD card slot and left those features in low end segment where they can't add expensive features yet they can say "hey, it has HP port and SD slot which isn't even on most expensive ones" to attract less rich users.
Would be cool if all out top of the line "Ultra" models were really loaded with features, including SD card reader, HP port, IR blaster etc.

Thanks to the sales in China, which are better than ever been before. Despite the fact 1iii 512GB is over $1500.
Pro-i even had an event for media yesterday. Taiwan as well.
Increasing average selling price (was $1040 in 2020) is working better than expected.
Xiaominions can hate in vain, again.

This is nice and all, but I would rather they bring back the micro SD slot and headphone jack rather than paying for an even brighter screen. Stop making your flagship phones a poor value proposition!
