120W charging overheats and degrades battery life. Anandtech also exposed Mi 11T charging dropped to 95W (will be similar here), the latter components are identical to a conventional charger.

IR blaster is not something many people use.

SD card slot is a useful bonus on Xiaomi.

Headphone jack on Redmi is poor quality.

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2021True. Everyone hates iPhones until they use oneAs a former iPhone 4, 5, 6, 7, & X user (skipped the S series), I totally disagree. After using the OnePlus 7T Pro (dazzling QHD + 90Hz) back in 2019, I never ever came back to crApple phones. The fluidity of the system, the customizability of the UI, the freaking accelerated download manager & integrated ad-blocker (ADM to be precise). Oh!, & Did I forget that you could patch & side-load applications, or even watch ad-free YouTube via NewPipe & Vanced? No seriously, Android is personally a more flexible OS than iOS will ever be. Sure, I commend Cisco & Apple for making iOS such a beautiful looking, smooth UI, but their walled garden ecosystem is just absurdly painful to use when tried against Android.

Apple doesn't come close to the value Xiaomi offers. Show me an iPhone that has a 120hz oled display, 120w charging, IR blaster, hybrid card slot, headphone jack, great battery life, 5G and costs $410.

even sony, samsung, lg, huawei, nokia, and all BBK brands dont have any physical store in my place.. xiaomi doing great job for this no wonder they are no 2 manufactures. xiaomi usually selling their phones via online in big numbers and they also can have store everywhere.

Funny how in the comments to a story about Xiaomi, Apple and iOS are mentioned more times than Xiaomi. I used to see Xiaomi as a great value (like the Mi Note 10) brand. Now that the prices have gone up and the innovation sideways, it's more like the poor man's Apple, but with none of the latter's great design sense.

And why is even Xiaomi moving from an online, asset-light business model to something like this? I mean, it helped to cut costs and people too prefer to buy online, especially during this COVID-19 about-to-end situation. Seems like a bad move. And young generations, the Gen Z prefer online over offline...and they are Xiaomi's target customers...an Apple stunt, maybe.

Only Xiaomi puts ads on its devices, because they sell you their stuff at a cheap price. So in order to compensate for that, they earn through ads. Android doesn't have ads. Never. But MIUI has.
