my main problem with iphone is the "back" gesture. DAMN that phone is not usable with one (right) hand!!! android phones you can swipe from both sides of screen while apple just one side

[deleted post]Apple has just a bunch of phones to work on each year, but they still would not put a 120 hz on iPhone 13, and just put up some random excuse for it. Samsung literally has dozens of models to work on every year and still they have the fold lineup which is the pinnacle of smartphone tech currently and probably for lots more to come

just catching up is just as false as false can be. Google phones have been providing years of updates since long ago. I bought a nexus before so I know. Also phone I have now, from a company called OnePlus has been long in that three years thing. In fact my current OnePlus has already got a lot of updates. Even my old Nokia budget phone got a lot of updates and at least two OS ones as well. So yeah, three or four years of updates are not new in the Android world. Pixel phones have been giving that 3 years of software updates. But you are clueless since Apple is all you can be familiar with

So iOS requires coding but with Android it is nothing but a very sloppy copy-and-paste task or some guy playing MS Paint with the OS, where they just 'slap' some colours and skins on top of android because of course it does not even require any coding and such. Samsung and their One UI are one of the most popular Android skins out there, so that 'slapping' of a few extra skins, whatever that means, it does indeed work and their Tizen OS is still used in smartwatches, and before the Android and iOS arrived, their proprietary Bada OS, was one of the most preferred phone OS, after Symbian. Get your facts right first, before you act like the fruit company is the greatest thing to exist in the world

So what ? There were plenty of phone innovations that existed before iPhones. The first 8 ever megapixel camera was put on phones by Samsung and it was literally called 'Innov8'. iPhone did not even have that resolution till the iPhone 4S there years after that. So stop banging that NVMe drums like it is the only innovation that had ever happened. For the "massive" internal storage you claimed, once again, Samsung was the first to do that terabyte on a commercial smartphone way back with the S10 series. Samsung also has provided Apple with lots of the components that are needed in their iPhones like display and RAM / Storage which they still do upto an extent
You clearly do not have any clue on what are you talking about except, that fact that you keep promoting your Apple everyday, all day on this site, and bash Samsung for their phones, which you do not even use. If you really want to talk about innovation then talk about the Galaxy Fold or Flip

Some don't seem to grasp how much work and dedication is required. Even Samsung which is a massive corporation tried to do that and failed.
Also iPhones had NVMe storage before UFS was a thing, they have massive storage capacities as option if you'd care to pay for them and chipsets are 1 or 2 generations ahead of everyone else for the last several years...

selling 10 products with $1000 profit is better than selling 1000 products with $8 margin.
Next, aim for 80% profit margins and 50% apple tax.

That "iPhone profits" includes the real revenue generators, the 30% mob tax on everything. That is the sole reason Apple stopped releasing actual device sales numbers, to bake everything into one lump sum on an offshore bank account.
