Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to have a smaller curvature than the Note20 Ultra

Could be similar to the Note10+.

This happens every year. Eventually it'll have the same screen curvature like the Galaxy Note 4 (standard version) which was considered a flat screen phone :D.

      Well I have had 3 phones with crappy curved edge displays that I did not want , but there was no other option .
      I won’t buy another, they suck.
      The phone’s are more slippery ,
      they are more likely to be broken ,
      They are more prone to ghost touches.
      And due to the curve a loss of some screen width keyboards are narrower and harder to use if you have large ish hands.
      And lastly trying to get a tempered glass screen protector to stay on for any length of time just won’t happen..
      Flat screen is so much better.

            I do not talk about look, ok. My point of having larger bezeless curve display is to fingers down on the curve edge as a digital gaming trigger when fps gaming, to view incoming alerts and notifications easier and to fit my eyesight and reduce my eyestain.

                        That's fine with me. I wish the would just make it flat like on 13 Pro Max. Curved screens looks cool and futuristic I'll give them that but functionality is not good. Also the light distorstion and shine is the worst about it. I will be buying the S22 Ultra anyway though since I love the Note series and it will be nice to upgrade from my current Galaxy Note 8.

                          Esthetically there are really nice.

                          For drop protection it's worse.

                          Samsung and other manufacturers should have first party screen protectors that fit really well on non/curved displays and make them available for 2-3 years, at least for high end devices.

                                  I am currently owning a smartphone with curved display. The curves do make it premium looking but at the same time, it requires carefulness to not drop your phone, even with back cover on because a side impact on a fall will likely shatter the display on a curved screen smartphone. That's my only gripe with curved screens otherwise I like the premium look it gives.

                                      How about no curvature at all? I really can't see the appeal of curved-screen smartphones. After all, finding a screen protector for curved-screen smartphones is a complete hassle.
