$900 isn't rediculous at all. The Kaiser went for $850 when it first came out, as do all of the "new hotness" WM6 phones. THey are aimed squarely at the business market and that is the value of the tool to the intended customer (many of whom are not paying for this out of thier own pocket). I won't think twice about plopping down $8-$900 for one of these. You'd spend that on a laptop right? My WM phone is just as useful and just as necessary as my Fujitsi tablet to my business.
That said if you happen to find yourself in Hong Kong or mainland China in Sept. you could probably get this for around $500 unlocked with several gigs of maps, softwares, etc. ;)

going to be released in the UK sept 1 and if you convert the rumored UK price to US dollars its ~$930 which is rediculous

This phone was rumored to be under sprint...if its tru ill be one happy man and this would have been a great year with sprint

THIS is awesome, i can't wait to come in our country, i'll be first one to own it!!!! Ok, many people forgot: iphone is too big to carry it in pocket, i mean 3.5"TOO BIG. Plas, maybe, just maybe, i'phone is prityer, but nothing else!!! Camera, pff, no coment. bluetooth, no bluetooth haha rediculus!!! much more i cant remeber at the moment that is main disadvantage of this phone, that peope thik it is advantage, NO. Touch pro is economical, with its 2.8" not small vga display. And stil, it can fits any pocket. Am i write?

bigger screen = bigger phone. this phone has buttons on the lower part and he can-t have bigger screen. look at samsung i900. his screen is bigger because he dasn't have many buttons. good luck. sorry for my english.

So glad people are starting to talk about screen size. BIGGER IS MUCH BETTER. I had a 3.5¨ Imate for years & have now a newer 3¨ LG Viewty, good Cameraphone but I miss my BIG screen hugely. >Stop calling 2.8¨screens ¨big¨ they´re not big enough

I have tried and tested most of these devices and find each having its own advantages. The majority of users are not us who visit forums and write reviews. THey are just happy with what each maker provides.
4" screen wont he distant screen. The size of htc pro is 102mm , that converts to 4" . So if whole of the front panel is the screen , you have a 4" screen. Battery life : more and more ampere is being packed into smaller batteris and hence when the screen gets to 4 " , the battery will be made to stand that screen.
I love the 3.5" screen of iphone but it does not meet my needs. I badly need high end office applications and hence WM is the best for me. For its size, tytn II meets my needs so well and i will be one of the first HTC pro user. hahahah

When htc lunched their touch diamond, i was like wow great phone if not the best but then again, ppl made alot of commence about what features it lacks and all that, most commented about lack of keyboard, card slot and flash. So what does htc see do they came out with a version that has all that ppl say the previous diamond lacked they touch pro, still ya'll got ppl complaining about how thick it is and all that, If you ask me i'd great work htc no doubt. all ppl do is talk nothing you'll will make them happy. atleast you have a choice if you want to stay slim and touch yet work with hand go for the diamond or if you also want to get serious sometimes with work you got the touch pro. attaboy htc.

The Iphone is by far one of the biggest craptastic phones to be released... seeing as touchscreen phones were readily available long beforethe iphone and 4" display... say goodbye to ur battery

I still prefer nokia E90 over this one because u have 800 width screen and u can put the phone on the table and start typing. With this one, u can use the keyboard only if u keep the phone in ure hand. Still, if it had a WVGA screen, i might have given it a second thougt !
