The sole reason none of these exist on flagships renders them useless, trying to make cheap devices look like a flagship, but they simply aren't and will never be! The lost space can be put to a good use for something else! There is nothing bad about that!

Sir, mobile has to be mobile, at no circumstances its to be bigger then 5.5 and 6.0 screen, other than this is stupid, why doesn't mobile maker think convenience of users, engineers kindly think on this, regards.

No need for a native macro camera since it can be integrated inside the ultrawide camera as ASUS did with the Zenfone 8. If I want to take a portrait photo, I'd use the telephoto camera, not the main camera combined with a depth camera. There are more important factors to consider when it comes to portrait photos such as aperture and focal length.

Macro can stay it can be good with enough MP
Get rid of depth..
But replace the depth with dedicated low light sensors like in the TCL plex and Lenovo z6 pro
Dedicated low cameras are 2MP as well.. BUTTT!!!!
Much bigger pixel size and good results look on the Lenovo z6 pro review on this site
It's beyond me why manufacturers don't just do that combo

Main Camera + Telephone + Ultrwawide along with Depth Sensor preferably 3D ToF is the way to go on premium phones.

Don't absolutely care about portraits. Now macro is a different story: love them! Hope they improve it a lot in the future.

The macro camera on my older Redmi Note 9S is a 5Mp auto focus and takes really good close up pics. It works so much better than my newer Galaxy S20 FE that doesn't have a dedicated macro camera. I still use the Redmi when I need to get really close but that's not very often.

microscope camera will be nice. Since ultra wide can be use as macro, we can skip that one. Once continuous zoom is introduced, we really only need 3-4 cameras to be able to do everything.

I've only really used the main camera and the ultra-wide one, the latter is pretty handy, and I love it. My phone also has telephoto camera, and I've never had any real use for it, its useless IMO.

The 2 megapixel camera should be discontinued altogether. It has no place on smartphones whether as a depth sensor, side or main, macro etc whatever the name camera

Not lack of sensorsThen that's where the high megapixel count main cameras come in.
Is a cheap way to have more detail digitally zooming in.
