Aan2007, 09 Nov 2021what are you smoking? nobody stops you from wasting your mo... moreI think you're the one who is high. Samsung has always been the one offering less for its price. Even now they have phones similar price to Honor 50 but with only lower mid range specs. I mean come on, they don't even bother to increase their charging speed not to mention using old SoC. Besides you said "nobody cares" but I think you care enough since you thought I'm buying this Honor 50 is a "waste". Clearly you don't think this phone is good so why waste your time to comment here? Go and post praising comments on your beloved Samsung's posts.

A lot of the comments saying "Samsung better buy than this Honor" or "any reason to buy this overpriced bla bla bla..". But here I am with my new Honor 50 that was just released (in my country) despite those Samsungs being in the market way earlier. Why is that? Because, it's my money, I want what I want so I buy what I want. What is it to you? Trying to influence other people not to buy this? If I depend on the comment section to buy something, I would already bought a "regret". Honestly, if people want to know if my Honor 50 exceed my expectation? Probably not. But coming from an (possibly) outdated phone, my initial goal was to get an upgrade so it's no doubt an upgrade.

Nick Tegrataker, 08 Nov 2021"controlled by the municipal government of Shenzhen&qu... moreTo get around the ban on Google Services the Chinese government created a company called "Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology" and Huawei "sold it to them" also giving them about 8000 employees.

This phone should in theory be the last built in collaboration.

How the Honor company is meant to complete on the next build without any resources etc I don't know. It sounds like the Chinese government will help them survive by passing info and resources between them.

There’s no reason to buy this over the cheaper Samsung galaxy A52s with the same chipset

These are already overpriced compared to Xiaomi and even Samsung. I can't see anyone wanting to buy Honor after this and especially Huawei without Google services.

I'm talking about the Galaxy A52 ,,S" version, not regular A52.

Honor 50 is 550€ in my country, Galaxy A52s 5G is about 360€.
So is there anything more special or better for almost +200€?
Only thing i see that it's better than Samsung is that 66w charging brick, nothing else.
So in my conclusion here it is:

                                    (+) Samsung
                                    - Stereo speakers
                                    - Better display
                                    - A bit better battery
                                    - Expandable memory slot
                                    - Headphone jack
                                    - IP67 rating
                                    - OIS
                                    - Better cameras

                                    (+) Honor 50
                                    - 66w fast charging

cost 150EUR more than A52 while lacking jack, mSD card slot, waterproofing, OIS and tons of other features, good luck with that
