Me, 10 Nov 2021Exynos 2100 is good processor no need snapdragon any more Just compare the same model with Exynos and SD side by side in terms of battery backup, you would understand what you are loosing and why you need SD over crappy Exynos.

San, 12 Nov 2021S20 fe 5g at 34000 is a mind boggling deal. What do you say?Hi San,
As per my personal experience, I won't recommend any version of S20FE. I have my own reasons and with first hand experience.
It was a good mobile out of the box but updates totally ruined the whole specs of this mobile. Camera downgraded, performance is worst. And yes, extreme heat issues in SD version also. Scrren flickering, call drops, Green tint and many others issues after updates. Just read about this mobile on Samsung members. I brought this mobile in March and sold it after 2 weeks and brought Note20U 5G. I was so excited to use that and i did for a few days but once I updated it, i hated that. Exynos version heats up very fast but SD is not behind is well. In d end, I would suggest you to go S21 in Jan, it will be very cheap like 30% cut. It is a good mobile or you can go for regular Note 20. Specifically at your price range A52s would be great.
I find S20FE is good on specs and papers only, A52s is more realistic for me

As someone who is beta testing the one ui 4.0 on my s21 ultra I can safely say the problem of overheating is a lot less now.

This happens to exynos and snapdragon chips build on 5nm Samsung lithography and it's arous 40-50% less efficient vs 5nm TSMC depending on the core. Next year's chips shouldn't throttle as much with the improved Samsung 4nm and all the ARM efficiency bumps. This year was the worst for Android chips and we shouldn't expect worse next year.

It's like an entire generation difference between the two.
                              Both are Exynos 2100

I’m waiting for the S22 Ultra to upgrade to. I just hope the new Exnyos chips don’t run so hot this time. I actually switched from Samsung to iPhone last year due to S20 running so hot I couldn’t even touch it. Bored with the iPhone though, am not going to upgrade to the 13 with it looking basically the same as the 12.

Exynos is a not that bad,my biggest issue with this is inferior performance and the heat it generates compared to SD versions. Its their own SOC so it should be always better than SD. Its always like this, Apple,SD,Kirin,Exynos, mediatek.
