      Getting ridiculous fastest charging speed

        808, 13 Nov 2021Indeed, for me better a long lasting battery than fast changingIndeed you will jump on board no matter what with this ultra fast charging

        First comes the criticism and the doubt and the battery concerns

        Then it because the norm in smartphones see you in the future with your 125W smartphone in your pocket

          Samsung official, 13 Nov 2021 25 watt are enough to me.And back then there were people that said 10W is good enough for me when 25W and 33W was ultra fast

          I'll see you in the future commenting that 125W is good enough for you when that become the industry standard

          And 250W is the new fast charging

          And then the cycle continues

                Samsung official, 13 Nov 2021 25 watt are enough to me.Then use a old cable with slow charging, "problem" solved 👍🏻

                    Each & every flagship phone should have a set of features that can be considered as up-to-date for that year. Rather than having 125W, 65W charging can be improved by improving internal charging mechanisms so as to take lesser time than previous generation 65W charging speed & increase the battery size in the process. For eg. OnePlus 8T had 65W charging & it took 38 minutes to fill up while the 9 Pro takes 31 minutes for the same capacity battery. 10 Pro with 65W charging & 5160mAh battery taking 30 minutes to top up from 0 is more preferable as the brick would cost less & the money distribution would be better for rest of the specifications.

                        4-4.5Ah lithium batteries can take a short burst of high charging rates up to around 120W but no matter how much spin their marketing about the thermal protections , the dual cell batteries etc (EVs have hundreds or thousands of cells but still charge to 100% in one hour or so) there is simply no chemistry that can take less than 45minutes to 100% without relatively significant degradation (unless we're talking about lithium batteries with graphene but they are too expensive at the moment to be used in phones) .That's why big brands that offer more aftermarket support (apple, samsung etc) usually are much more cautious on the fast rates on charging (to the point that Apple even used underhanded methods to make the battery of old models last as much as possible).
                        That said most of people change their phones every 2-3 years so a mixed usage of 50% fast charge and 50% "slow charge" should impact minimally most users and it true that you can just use a slow charger, what annoys me is that these companies tell you they have some kind of magical solution that won't impact the battery cell life , that is plainly load of bulls.

                          APPLE-FOREVER, 13 Nov 2021Do you charge your phone in pocket?Charging or not, phones may explode.
                          OnePlus Nord 2 for example.

                              It should not degrade battery until 5 years

                                But the battery isn't being charged at 120w as usually they use 2 batteries inside both charged at 60w each at same time.

                                  Samsung have 1 25w charger too 😑 🙂

                                    As long as the battery won't degrade after 2 or 3 years, and
                                    the battery won't explode, causing serious burns when it happens in your pocket;
                                    120W would be nice.
