Apple is providing only premium quality which is good.
but Samsung provide you a wide category to choose from.
they are biggest company as revenue.

Samsung products comprise of low end devices to high end devices but apple products are all high end products so analysis solely based on unit shipment won't be all that accurate

That Apple makes more profit per device simply means that a) people are prepared to pay more for Apple products than the competition and b) Apple have huge economies of scale and very streamlined production runs that allow them to reduce costs.

The expectation that somehow tablets will overtake so-called "traditional" computers soon is insane. Laptops offer power, a proper keyboard, ports for a multitude of peripheral devices, and at a very attractive price point. The fact that some tablets are reverting to this form factor, with keyboards and ports is proof of the enduring appeal of "traditional" computing which in hardware/power performance terms remains superior to tablets.
