Maybe they are doing what google did with pixel 5?
Use a bit weaker processor (but still powerful enough to run some demanding apps) so it can consume less power and we can end up with better battery life.
I mean S line is already "mature" and majority of tech enthusiasts switched to fold/flip so S line might be targeted for the regular phone users who just want their phones to do the work and last long.

This year 2200 is better than SD 898(or gen 1) in both scores and cooling
Exynos is so good that they don't sell it in South Korea and keep their stock for Europe

Iphone 13 pro max doubled and even more more single core and extra 70% on multiple core. I declare android phone a fail, is way more cheaper to have a better iPhone than a more expensive android. Never expect this day will come, when android will not be only worse but even more expensive or less expensive with $50 but what you don't get to save $50 is pure lame.
