Anonymous, 22 Nov 2021Apple will now give you tools to fix it yourself.You do realise that repairing your apple devices yourself is nearly impossible? Even if successful, some function will be lost. Touch ID is lost now if you replace an iPhone 13 screen. There is a chip on the screen that is responsible for touch ID and it has to be desoldered and resoldered onto a replacement screen to be able to keep the feature. Ridiculous.

Apple said low network reception compared to other brands is a feature.
Apple only takes action once it becomes bad publicity and not for all models either.

May???? There is no may about it. Its clearly a known manufacturer issue. They will and better fix it!
And the pro max is not part of it????
One pro max i sold has the issue and another sold in the town next to me has the issue twice. Once even after repair!
And after the first repair they said they won't fix it again because its not a "known" issue!!
This is ridiculous! Its a $300 repair since they "have" to replace the screen to fix it.
They better fix it for everyone.
But is anyone going to do anything about it? No because its apple. People are just going to defend them....

Anonymous, 22 Nov 2021Apple will now give you tools to fix it yourself.No, they won't. For now the new repair program will cover only screen, camera and battery replacement. If anything else breaks, you'll need others to repair it, and Apple is doing everything they can to make those repairs near impossible.

Now to avoid bad PR for using cheap quality hardware, they are swinging the narrative as to how Apple takes care of its users for free....
