Last year they already said "they change strategy" and make less phones, so that they have a clear "flagshipline"
Where are we now? again there are OneX+, OneSV, many new desires, many new low end "One's"... Why didn't they just stay on OneX, S and V?
It's the same crap again.
HTC will never be the same as they used to be with winmo phones.
They died with the release of the Desire HD/Z. And the Desire was their last really awesome phone :/

john, 12 Dec 2012just can't buy what HTC is selling. They don't make anythin... moreDear This is same what every one is doing, no one makes parts by themselves. Even your Samsung, it has different company departments which are exclusive of the other.

Only Apple give you the illusion of designing their processors, which in fact is just the design of parts enumeration, and nothing else.

HTC has always been the first to launch the next generation product. While all others just wait for HTC to launch and then add specs which are marginally better then HTC. I dont say HTC models are of superb specs, but they are the ones to launch the next generation first.

Waw! Tou still use your SII? That phone is so old! That is amazing! How did it last so long? SII Are like last year or so...
Dude, get serious! Still using an SII is nothing. Lots of guys still use iphone 3 and 3Gs, X10 or as I do W980 and even k810i.
I still use my Arc also and it is like... I don't know, 1 year? 1 and half? Do you think I should post that to prove they last forever?

BTW I'd love to see your proof about Sharp stealing the IGZO screen. They've been making quality LCDs and phones since Samsung was a cheap, budget electronics company. . . well a cheaper, more budget oriented company.

Product and marketing decisions have been poor and thus the downfall of HTC. You can see a clear plan with Samsung in the Galaxy S2, S3 vs. Note vs. their mid to low end phones. HTC has been all over the place with the One series, Desire, and now Butterfly. Flagships don't last even 6 months and they are trying to deliver something newer. Spend time to make a truly great phone and it'll last 1-2 years. I am still using the S2 today and it's still going well. I don't know many of my friends are using the original Sensation which was rolled out around that time. They need a more clear direction in the different level of phones, and refocus on how to market them. They were the original smartphone maker but became complacent with success. It's time to wake up HTC. You need to play catch up now.
