Xiaomi make great phones but i want a stock and clean UI. I've had Xiaomi phones and they are alright. Currently using OnePlus and that UI is much more smoother.
However I would be willing to get back to Xiaomi if the release a killer compact phone. With so many models they should be able to make one with iphone 13 dimensions.

Oppo, Vivo and Samung phones cost more because they offer phones more reliable, both hardware and software, and it comes at a price. Apple makes you pay far more for it.
Especially Redmi phones get very bad support. Eventually you have one that's good for you, but others expect more from their devices and do spend a bit more for it. BBK phones are well reviewed everywhere, especially here, for what I notice.

The only gripe that i have with Xiaomi is that they do not give you the option to remove Poco launcher on Poco phones, you're stuck with sh*t google dialer and that their cameras also need improvement.
Hopefully the next Poco at least comes with a 64MP Sony sensor with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide that also doubles as a macro.

You are right... MI has really done well in the past couple of years.
It definitely won my heart over the Xperia 5 II, S20 FE & iPhone 12 among other options.
Felt like a huge upgrade over my iPhone 11. The iPhone 12 was just a rebranded iPhone 11 with new chip.

Good. They survived a US ban and are doing spectacularly. They can invest those profits into making even better phones. Neither Apple or Samsung are able to beat the cameras in the Mi 11 Ultra.

Love my Mi 11 Pro which I got for €650.
Shame that MI made this device China only and never launched it officially in Europe.
But hey it supports all bands in Europe and I got EU ROM out of the box with one year warranty. So why not?

People who buys these phones doesnt really know the specs that they are really buying. I remember my niece buying the vivo v20 , while her boyfriend bought the mi 10t (which cost almost the same) , to make the story short ."He" sold his vivo v20, and got the mi 10t pro. My niece planning to buy the mi 12 ultra to replace her mi 10t. She mentioned that she will not put any financial decisions anymore on a k pop band,haha.

Nobody talks about these phones anymore, even youtube reviewers only show case only flagship from these 2 companies, cause they know that ,entry to mid tier phones from bbk are crappy and overprice- its just a waste of their time. Anybody who knows phones knows about this, even GSM arena does not review Vivo and Oppo phones, cause there nothing exciting about them, except the price, which is not in a good way.

It depends on what devices are more popular right now.
If more people buy higher value phones like mi or mix series over K series and poco branded, the revenue increases even if total number of units sold remain unchanged.

MIUI is one of the most polished, fluid, snappy and bloatware free UI. I am using oneplus now but it comes with many bloatwares that can't be uninstalled and I hate that.
