Anonymous, 29 Nov 2021Yes, American. Best you stick with your limited choice of phones.Do you realize why he pointed out that he would choose Samsung?
Hard to support a brand that has no service available in your country and is inevitably going to need something.
Samsung is more global is all he said.

the folding phone game will have one winner when it can come out with a screen that doesn't crease. don't really the present screen ratio coz when unfold it's too squarish

Outer screen locked at 60Hz? Having a choice would be better IMO...

An American can try to import this and Oppo won't help them if something breaks. You're stuck with an expensive fix or trying to call a company from so far away running around in circles looking for help.

I'll stick to Samsung. More global.

There's nothing inherently so difficult to develop in a foldable OS, it's just simulation of two phone displays most of the time.

It's funny seeing their sheep justify that as "waiting for the tech to mature". Seems like a good meme though. Why doesn't Apple have this or that feature? They're waiting for the tech to mature, lol.

There are rare times when being on the bleeding edge can actually pay dividends. This might have been one of them for Samsung.
