But my point still stands, Xiaomi is the undisputed value king and expectations for them are way higher than their competition.

I'd rather use 2 cups tied to a string or a flying pigeon. Even if you gave the phone for free and pay me daily, I still wouldn't use one of those. I'd rather pay double or triple and get a South Korean or a Japanese brand.
PS To all of the US haters, newsflash : Android and iOS are both made in the US by US citizens 😆

solided, 26 Dec 2021I prefer a clean phone, not filled with duplicate apps that... moreI prefer a phone that had good hardware for lower price and also can open bootload to install new android on it. With xiaomi i get all of that.
With stock android phones i wont get best of the hardware and spend a lot more for just the stock android. Also these stock android phones usually get that 2-3 android updates and 2-3 years of security updates. While with the Xiaomi phones you can have 5 or more updates on android and also the security updates if you just install the right OS on it that is consistently updated.

Think of it like this: You just bought an expensive phone but now there's one selling the same package at half the price, since you don't want to feel 'buyer's remorse' you will try find every flaw in the other phone to justify your purchase, then begins the nitpicky hate for said phone/brand.
And on top of that, a lot of people nowadays are really demanding. I've seen people comparing comparing Poco f3 with S20, as if the Poco has to be equal or better to justify buying, even though there's a $500 price gap. So to put it blunt, the expectations for Xiaomi as a value based brand are very high which often leads to disappointment among the vocal few

Go study or something.. There's nothing worse than being unaware! (to be polite)
